Ch. 16 Tickle fest

( Izaya p.o.v.)

"Out!! Quit hiding behind Shizu-chan!!" I yelled as I stormed toward Shizu-chan. "See! You need me and my special powers. Hahaha! Ready, one... two..." he started counting down. No no no no no. This is all Shadows fault! He stepped away from Shizu-chan and started stalking toward me. What am I going to do!? I need to run, but I know he'll catch me. Protection. That's what I need. But where.... Ding!! Before I knew what was happening I was running and latched onto Shizu-chans back. "Shizu-chan, don't let him get near me or your next." I pleaded then threatened. "Wait, what's going on? Protect you from the little guy? Why?" He questioned as he turned his head to look at me. I forced his head back to look at the kid. " Just do it! Don't take your eyes off him!! Your life depends on this!" I yelled as he got to 3. " Ready or not, here I come!!!" He yelled with the devils smile as he ran up to me and Shizu-chan. " Ow!!! What the fudge flea, your gonna break my ribs!!! If it's really that bad, then I'll protect you. Only because your not letting go." He said. I was terrified, but also excited. I could feel the adrenaline pumping through my veins as he came closer.

That is, until he stopped and looked at Shizu-chan. "Do I know you from somewhere? This almost feels like daja-vu." He looked up at Shizu-chan as he talked. He looks so sweet and innocent, but don't be fooled, he is evil.
"No I don't think so. I don't even know your name yet. Or, why Izaya's latching onto my back." He said as he looked away. I immediately forced his head back. That's when I saw a light come on.
"I recognize you now! You look a lot like Shi-Chan!! I bet you even have his strength too. This is awesome, I never thought I'd see you again! Does this mean you lovmmmmphhh mpppphhh." I felt the blood rush from my face. Shi-Chan... my scar started to burn. I hadn't realized my grip had loosened until I hit the floor.
"Hey. Izaya, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" A panicked voice said. That voice was....Shizu-chan. It was Shizu-chan, right?
"Shizu-chan?" I sobbed. I felt myself say in my trance like state.
"Who else? Were you expecting the tooth fairy and a quarter? Sorry to disappoint, but your not getting any money from me. Your already rich enough as it is. Why are you-". His words were stopped by a shrill scream of laughter.
I was snapped out of my trance and looked over at Shinra. He was on the ground laughing and bawling like Celtys life depended on it. The culprit: Tickle Monster. Said Tickle Monster was smiling. from ear to ear and was stalking toward Celty who was at Shinra's side.
"What the fudge happened?...." asked a confused Shizu-chan.

"The tickle monster happened and I swear, if you let him anywhere near me I will really break your ribs." I said as I stood up and wiped the salty substance from my eyes. Before long a black smoke covered the room and Celty was shaking in silent laughter. "So, is there a reason why the child is named Tickle Monster?" It was a simple question to answer, but I felt reluctant to speak a word of it as I feel my face burn in embarrassment. I was hoping I could avoid the question, but the subject of said question popped up, almost making me jump out of my skin. "Come on, is it really that difficult to say? If you want, I can tell him. I'm a better story teller then you anyway. And I can tickle you to death while I tell it, a win-win situation for everyone!" He smiled with glee as he started moving towards me again. I quickly hoped on Shizu-Chan's back and tried to block all my tickle points. "No, I better tell it. After all, it is my story, but you can't tickle me while I'm talking, ok?" I tried to talk in my adult to child voice. He just rolled his eyes and huffed at me before sitting cross legged on the ground. "Will you let go of me, I'm not a stress reliever. If your gonna tell a story, then at least let Shinra and Celty join. They sound like they can't breath and it's getting harder to see in here." Shizu-chan sighed as he finally peeled my skin away from his. "Very well, I suppose they've had enough. Anyway, isn't there the saying that said 'The more the merrier especially if Izaya's being tickled'." Tickle monster said as Shinra and Celty stopped laughing. After a few minutes Shinra crawled his way over to us, placing himself between me and Shizu-chan. It took another minute or so for Celty to finish absorbing all her smoke and join us. She tried to sit next to Shinra, but I made sure there was no room so she hesitated before sitting between me and the Tickle Monster. They all sat down and looked at me, ready for my embarrassing story. I wish Celty's shadows still covered the room so they couldn't see my face.
