September's baby

I left his house with one thing on my mind why do bad things come to the people who just want to be loved. September was waiting for me rubbing his tummy in circles “So how did it go” I started crying he held me close “I-I think h-he h-hates m-me” I hiccupped at the ending. “Come on. I am about to show you how a pregnant man kicks ass” he led me back to the door “No lets go eat I bet your hungry” I joked drying my tears.

We went to a random diner. I got a simple burger while September got a bacon burger with fries in it and he even asked for peanut butter on it. The waiter was surprised at what he ordered but didn’t say anything, you’re never supposed to upset a pregnant man.

Once the food came I watched as September devoured the burger licking his fingers like it was the last thing on earth. I ate my food savoring the taste. September kept asking for my drink so he could use it as a dip for his fries. Finally I gave up and gave him my drink and finished my food.

After I paid for the check and September wrestled me so he could pay we left. I felt a lot better. My phone rang it was Austin.

“Hey Andrea I miss you” he said I could hear him crying

“Whatever” I said sadly.

“No I’m serious I shouldn’t have yelled at you like that” I scoffed

“Ok but I’m sorry I didn’t warn you”

“No its ok. Can you take me back please babe?”

“Yes. I can’t say no it’s impossible” he made a kiss sound into the phone then hung up.

September and I went to my house and got ready for the movie marathon we were going to do.

After about 7 hours we stopped with the movie marathon. September fell asleep and was snoring loudly but I’m used to it. I got a blanket to cover him with.

I made myself some food and ate that while September slept.

He woke up after a while and started crying. I ran to him looking at what he was screaming at. All I saw was blood. I picked up my phone dialing 911. “Hello 911 what is your emergency” “My friend is pregnant and is bleeding and I am fucking scared please come help him. My address is 2245 hillman street” I hung up waiting and holding September’s hand. “Drea I’m just going to take a quick nap for like 5 minutes” he held up 3 fingers “No stay awake please don’t leave me I can’t live without you your my everything. My door was kicked open and the paramedics got September and put him on a stretcher. I followed them out to the ambulance and sat next to September and kissed his cheek that was now going pale.

The ride felt like hours. I got out running after September but a man stopped me. I called Cole “September is in the hospital he started bleeding and I don’t know what to do” he started screaming at me “WHAT HOW DID THAT HAPPEN I WIL BE THERE IN 2 MINUTES 3 IF I CANT GET AROUND PEOPLE BYE” I sat down and waited for Cole to get here.

Just as he said he was there within 2 minutes with Austin and Ryan. Austin got down on his knees and held my hands. A doctor came up to us “Our patient September has requested to see Andrea and Austin” he said. I looked back at Cole he nodded letting us go.

We went into September’s room he was crying “My baby is dead it’s my fault” he screamed. “No its not don’t ever say that. September you’re the strongest boy I know and your body wasn’t ready for a baby yet. But don’t ever think for a second it was your fault” I said to him and sat down. I got light headed from crying “I think I am going to pass out” I said before falling down hitting my head and slipping into darkness.
