LAURENS POV - 7:00pm

Everyone arrived at my penthouse. My parents were already in there, I let Bruno let them in.

They came up and nearly squeezed me in a hug. "How is everything, Lauren?! Are you happy here?" My mom asked.

"Yes! I do love it here. I miss everyone back home though. How's auntie Helen?" I asked. "She's good and excited for you!" Dad exclaimed.

I smiled. "Well, I'll get the dinner out. Everyone take a seat!" I grinned.

"And that's how my nose got stuck in a mouse trap!" Jeremy exclaimed as he started laughing and slapping the table. He was rehearsing one of his new comedy routines out next week.

All of us started laughing. "My karate international competition is next week as well. Can you guys believe it? It's next week, then the week after that is Christmas!" Peyton cheered.

"YESS!" Cara clapped her hands and put her fist in the air.

She was right, Christmas was soon and that meant the gala was soon. I need to find those shoes before Luke comes back this Sunday. Dammit.

"I'm getting the new iPhone, a new MacBook and a load of other expensive things." Courtney said as she flicked her hair.

We all gave her a blank look. "Spoilt. " Talia coughed behind her hand. Courtney shot her a look.

There was always tension in our group between Courtney and the rest of us. If I'm honest, we don't know how the hell she is still friends with us. She can be mean most times.

"Anyway.. I have a lawyer case I'm in the middle of trying to solve. It's between a teenager and an old man. Apparently the teen stole the old mans car. Now he's suing the family. Thoughts?" Daniel looked around.

"Crazyyyy!" Kayla tutted. "Damn Daniel, that's so exciting." Cara said. "It's a pretty weird case but I have to go through with it I suppose." Daniel laughed.

"You're cute." Cara said all of a sudden across the table. I noticed Daniel smirk. "You too, babe." He winked.

Cara dramatically flailed her arms in the air and slouched back in the chair. "IM IN LOVE!" Cara announced to us, all though we already knew they loved each other.

Daniel blew a kiss at her and Cara giggled.

Those two were so cute. I was also watching Chad and angel flirting wth each other all night too.

I started to play with my food thinking about stuff. "Pssst, you okay Lauren?" Stuart whispered next to me.

"Oh yeah! Just tired." I forced a laugh. Stuart stuck his face under mind. "Do you miss him?" Stuart asked. "Who?" I raised my eyebrow. Stuart rolled his eyes.

"Luke! Do you miss lukey? Because I miss him." Stuart frowned. I smiled at Stuart. "He was only gone for a day. He'll be back Sunday." I told him.

"That's a whole three days! I don't care what you say but I miss him and I know you do too." Stuart stuck his nose in the air and continued to eat his chicken.

I looked at him in shock for a moment then continued eating my own food.

9:45pm

It was getting late now and everyone was starting to leave.

"Byeeeee Lauren!" Stuart hugged me. "Thanks for the food!" Kayla grinned as she left with Ryan.
