I got home and Shawn brought up homecoming. I've always wanted to go to homecoming but I have to be a freshman and I'm in 8th grade. But with some exceptions the principal will let underclassman go.
"So would you ever go with me to homecoming?(;" He texts.
I about pass out so it takes me a while to text him back. "Of course!! I don't even have to think about it! But I'll have to talk to my parents and you'll have to talk to the principal(:" I knew my parents would say no but hey it's worth a try.
I decide to text Danni. "SHAWN JUST ASKED ME TO HOMECOMING." In about 2 minutes she reads my message and doesn't respond. Whatever. All I ask is for her to be supportive of me. But of course not. All about Danni. All the time.
I told Shawn how Danni reacted and all he said was "Oh well. I like you not her." WAIT DID HE JUST SAY HE LIKED ME!? HOLY CRAP WOW.
"You uhm...like me?" I respond.
"Yeah a lot actually." he texts back.
I told him how I felt about him and we went back and forth for the rest of the night.

I walk to my bus saying bye to Olivia and I see Shawn standing by the door.
I slide into the front seat just so I can talk to him. I stood up after resting my stuff on the seat. He whispers in my ear, "So wanna be my girlfriend?" My heart literally has just melted. Butterflies fill my stomach and my face turns bright red.
"O-of course I will!!!" I say and I hugged him. He kissed my cheek and walked off my bus. I cannot believe this. I am the luckiest girl alive.
