I'm just your average seventeen year old girl. I have a car, I'm really nice to people, everyone is this small town knows me and I know them. I was never bullied in school, I'm a cheerleader, I'm a good girl with good grades, good friends, a good attitude. I'm just your regular ordinary good girl. At the moment it's spring break, which means a lot of work that I don't get paid for (the farm), and my birthday, which means a party with my friends, boyfriend, and my friends' boyfriends.
I sighed as my alarm went off, '5:30' it read. I got up, took a shower, got ready, ate a small breakfast, and got to work. At this point it is now about 6:30.
I pulled on my boots, grabbed the keys to my four wheeler, and hooked the keys to my belt loop. I walked to biggest shed and mixed the food for all twenty horses. I put the food in the big wagon I have hooked to the back, and I drove to all the horse pens I have. I fed them and drove back to get the feed for my seventeen cows. I made it and drove back. All the way in the back. Driving there took about fifteen minutes and feeding them took about ten unless they gather around you then it takes about twenty because you have to push them and yell at them and make yourself look big. It's hard when you pretty much a small looking frail girl. I'm actually really strong, it's just I'm tiny. Like very tiny.
I fed them and then I left to get the chicken and goat feed. I went to the chicken coop, which held probably two or three roosters and about five hens and very few chicks. I fed them and checked for eggs. There weren't any. I sighed and got out of the coop and went to go feed the goats.
I quickly fed them and got out of the pen. I don't like goats. They make too much noise and they always play with you and I don't like it. They always rough house and I always got hurt in here when I was little. I got back on the four wheeler and waved my dad goodbye as he left. He stopped by me and rolled down his window."Hurry up with your work, you have a lot to do. When your done get cleaned up. We are having the owners of my business come over and eat." He said and I smiled and nodded.
"Yes sir. If I get done quickly may I ride down the roads on my four wheeler?" I asked sweetly.
"Yes. Good bye sweetie." He said and blew me a kiss.
"Good bye daddy." I said and blew him one back. I've always been a daddy's girl.
I walked inside to get some water and looked at the clock. It was 8:15. I smiled and walked back outside. I cleaned up the yard and made a big pile towards the back but away from the animals so they wouldn't mess it up.
I was done with all my work around 2:00 and I smiled and told my mom I was gonna ride around. I got Diego and asked him if he wanted to ride.
"Uh duh." He said and followed me outside.
I smiled and pulled my hair into a bun. He looked at me and we unhooked the wagons from our big ATV four wheelers. Mine is blue while his is bright red. I looked at him and started my ATV and backed up. I turned around and drove a little bit out and waited for him.
In the middle of riding around I felt my phone vibrating in the closed, tight compartment and stopped. I answered my phone and saw it was my dad.
"Hey!" I piped.
"I'm on my way home make sure your ready. They are bringing their son." My dad said.
"Okay. I'll tell Diego to make sure he's ready." I spoke. "We just have to put the four wheelers up."
"Hurry up." My dad said and hung up.
"We have to get home and get ready." I told Diego.
"Well let's get going." He said and we sped home making sure not to hit any cars.
