after we help gabbie up she and alex go off to theatre and i go to film. i walk into the class and see nobody in there but the teacher.
"mr.keller?" i ask as i walk up to his desk.
"yes?" he says looking up at me. "oh you must be elizabeth the new girl. am i correct?"
"uh yes sir but i prefer to be called liza. am i the only one in the only one in this class?"
"there is one other person in here and here he is. late again mr. dobrik. hope this isn't going to become a habit of yours."
"it won't sir." david said rolling his eyes and completely ignoring me.
"just take a seat wherever you would like." i nod and take a seat at the front and listen as the teacher explains to me what my assignment is.
"ok so for this you will need to work with david to create a movie trailer and present it to me in three weeks."
i turn around and look at david. he is on his phone with his headphones. he looks up at me and rolls his eyes and then looks back down at his phone. i roll my eyes and get up and move to sit next to him. he looks at me and takes his headphones out.
"what are you doing?" he asks clearly annoyed.
"i'm supposed to be working with you for the assignment." i say
"ok well have fun because i won't be helping the girl who slapped me."
"whatever. i'll do all the work for you and then get all the credit for it."
"so you won't even write my name?"
"why should i if you won't do anything."
"fine i'll do something." he says rolling his eyes. he is such a child and still acts like an ass just like when we were kids. he is so irritating.
i start working on a script for the trailer and by the end of the lesson i've completely written it out and edited it so that it was perfect.
"we need to meet up sometime to film the trailer." i say to david just as the last bell goes
"yeah whatever. i'll text you"
"but you don't have my number."
"i'll get it off alex." he says as he runs down the hall and out of the gates. i walk out the doors and see gabbie, alex and some other people i don't know. i walk up to them and gabbie immediately spots me.
"hey girl! come meet our friends." she says waving me over. "ok so liza meet zane, todd, scott, kristen, heath, dom and corrina." gabbie says pointing to them as she says their names.
"hi." i say waving slightly. i hear the honk of a car horn and turn around to see my cousin in her car. i roll my eyes and say goodbye to everyone.
"did you really need to do that ally?" i say getting into her car.
"well you weren't going to see me anytime soon were you?" she says raising her left eyebrow.
"you could have just texted me"
"oh well."
we finally pull into the driveway of my aunts house and get out. i go in and walk upstairs and into my bedroom. i dump my bag down, take off my shoes and then go into my en-suite and take my make up off except for my eyebrows. i walk downstairs and grab an apple from the kitchen as my aunt walks in.
"so."she starts off. "how was your first day at school? meet anyone one new? make any friends?"
"i made a few new friends. oh and you never told me alex and david went there."
"who? oh wait i remember david and alex. they were nice boys weren't they?"
"they were. would you be able to call me down when dinner is ready? i have quite a bit of homework i wanted to get done."
"of course darling" i run back upstairs and start on my algebra homework.
i'm almost done with my algebra when there is a knock on the door.
"come in!" i yell just thinking it's my aunt or ally. i look up and see alex and gabbie standing by the door.
"hey guys." i say getting off my bed.
"hey! we thought we would come by and see you." gabbie says.
"you're doing homework? since when did that happen?" alex says
"well maybe i wanted to pass my classes instead of being around you and david all time and getting yelled at" i said while giggling. it takes one look at alex for us both to start laughing. gabbie looks confused so i explain how when we were younger the three of us would always say that we had a group project to do and instead went to the park and got ice cream.
"you guys are weird." gabbie says after we stopped laughing. she walks over and picks up my homework and takes a photo of it.
"someone didn't do their work." i said while laughing slightly.
"couldn't be bothered. the nerd life isn't for me you now."
"tsk tsk gabbie tsk tsk." alex says while shaking his head and laughing.
"liza?" i hear my aunt say at my door. "did your friends want to stay for dinner?" i looka t them and they both nod.
"sure. what are you making?"
"your favourite. lasagna."
"yum!"
"hi sophia." alex says.
"alex! so lovely to see you again! my haven't you grown?" she says before hugging him and then going back downstairs to start making dinner

AN// ok ok so i know i said that i would upload quicker but i was hit with homework and tests and then we ended up moving house and only just got internet to work. im sorry that this was late and hopefully the next chapter will be up soon. thanks again guys
