I have always asked myself why so many people were selfish. Look at today's society, people are so narrow-minded, they focus on their perfect little life, on what they are going to eat, to wear, to buy. They don't seem concerned by the world around them. They don't see the poverty, the misery, the crisis situation. They don't even care if people die everyday because of their lack of interest. How can we just let poor people die for our own pleasure ? We don't need much money, much food. Why can't we just share our resources ? Because people want the power. Wealthy people continue getting rich, they always want more money, they never have enough. In the meantime, vagrant, mendicant, bankrupt, penniless people suffer because of this civilization. Don't you think that's unfair ? Can't we all just be equal ? That's not all. People turn a blind eye to the reality. They don't want to face it. They're too scared to take position, to make a move towards a better world. They prefer to stay in their comfort zone, without taking any risks. They are busy building families, raising children, getting to work. Their children are raised in an innocent world, where money, health and education are totally normal. In fact, half of the children in the world don't get a chance to get a proper education. Many people think that slavery was abolished since a long time. But what they don't know, is that approximately 150 million children in the world are actually slaves. They have five, seven, thirteen years old whatever, they all work in harsh conditions and have health issues. They are in pain, they have nothing, don't they deserve a better life ? I'm tired of this. We have so much compared to them. We complain for little things that don't even matter. But those children don't. They keep it all for themselves, they endure horrible things. This has to change. Everyone deserves a proper life, without being abused, without living in the poverty. Everyone deserves to be heard, to be loved, to be seen for god sake. Everyone deserves a chance to change into someone better. We all deserve a chance, whatever our social class is, what we have done in the past. I have faith that we can turn the world, all together, into something more valuable. Open your heart to the people that are around you, give them all the love they need and clear the misery from love.
