Part 7: We Ride The Same School Bus

Dinah pov.

Get it together Dinah. Don't be awkward around people.

I keep telling myself that on our way to the the movie. As I said, beautiful people make me nervous. And Oh, did I mention that Lauren's best friend, Normani, is hotter than the freaking hell. If it weren't for having Ally with me, I would have already lost my shit.

"Dinah wanna share some popcorn?" Ally voice bring me back to reality. We are now buying tickets for the movie.

"Yeah sure. Can we mix original with sweet please?" I asked with pleading eyes. Something I like to do to Ally because I know she won't be able to resists my cuteness.

"Alright pumpkin" Ally said, petting my head.

"You guys would make such a cute couple. Biggie and smalls" Said Normani.

"Oh no. no no no. no no. no. That would be wrong on so many levels."

What's up with me and the word "no".

"Ew!" Ally said before turned to me and said "No offense"

"Miss Dinah here is like a sister to me. We could never." She continued.

"Never" I added.

"Ever" Ally and I said this at the same time and giggle after.

"Besides we are straight." I added just to clear things up even more.

"So does spaghetti until its wet honey."

I laughed and look over at Ally, just to see her making the funniest awkward face ever.

"Mani!! You can't say that to new friends!" Lauren said and smacked Mani, hard, on her arm.

"Ouch! Chill Lo. I was just trying to melt the ice. Break the tension, ya know." Rubbing her arm as she tried to explain herself.

"I'm so sorry for Normani. She can be too straightforward sometimes." Lauren turn to us and apologized.

"It's fine. It's good because I suck at making conversation." I said, smiling at her.

Did she blush?

"See! Our new friends already love me more than you and your abusive ass!" Mani almost shouted at Lauren.

"Well then you're in luck that we have our new friends here or else I will be beating your ass!"

Ally and I watch them interact with giggle and smiles on our faces.

-- After movie --

"Guys, can we go get some froyo before we leave?" I asked.

"Sure honey. I will run to the restroom real quick. You wait here ok?" Ally said before running of to the restroom.

"Wait up! I'll come too." Normani said and run after Ally.

"Do you like the movie?" Lauren spoke in such a gentle voice. I feel like I'm going to melt so I walk to one of the theater couch and take a seat.

"Do you?" I asked her back once she took a seat next to me.

"I do actually, especially the ending." She smile softly at me. I wish to captured her smile and put it in a frame, hanging it on my bedroom wall.

Ah shit. What's wrong with me.

"It's your turn to answer me, you know?" She giggly asked.

"I like it too, but I hate the ending."
