I am quiet as Anthony sits here trying to teach me magic, it doesn't make much since to me but Willow is farther ahead of me at the moment. I am pissed that she is getting so good, and powerful. She learns faster than me and her spells are more efficient. I can only learn one spell a week because of how slow I am at learning them, but that only slows Willow down.
"Are you listening to me, Keith, hello?" I snap out of my thoughts and look at a worried Anthony
"Sorry, I was, I was thinking." I say
"You have been every time we have a lesson, you either pay attention or you learn with Lauretta." Anthony says
"Fine, I will try harder. I just feel bad because I have to work twice as hard, slower, and it is keeping her behind on her studies." I reply
"How bout this, you study chapter 12, learn the spell. See if it is easier to work on your own than with someone else, if that doesn't work than you'll have to go see Lauretta"
"Okay, I will work on it." I nod and take the book
"See ya later Keith" Anthony waves goodbye and then vanishes.
I fall back onto the bed and push the grimior away, I can't do this. Why! Why do I have to be the one who can't learn shit! I throw my pillow across the room and then my lamp, along with a couple books. My door opens and Willow comes in, she looks at my tear stained face and then at the pile near my window.
"What's going on?" She asks
"I can't do it!" I yell
"Do what?"
"Learn anything, you learn fast and quick I learn slow and steady." I cry harder and she comes over to my bed, she sits next to me and pulls me into a hug.
"Hey, it's okay. I have troubles sometimes, you will get used to it, it will come faster to you." Willow says
"But I am holding you back!" I yell and suddenly Willow is across the room, knocked out on the floor.
Oh no, what have I done? I run over to her body and shake her a little bit, she doesn't move or wake up. I slap her face but her head just jerks to the side, oh I shouldn't have done that but hey who cares she won't feel it. Maybe I can just wake her up with a spell, I run back to the grimior and flip threw the pages, none of them say anything about waking someone up.
Come one! I need to wake her up, wait how did I even move her? I did this to her, I hope I don't get sent away.
"Willow?! Keith what did you do!" Sydnee yells whiel rushing over to Willow's lifeless body.
"I didn't mean to, I-I promise. It was an accident." I stutter
"Call Casper" Sydnee says while lifting Willow's head on her lap, suddenly a swoosh of air comes threw the room and Willow disappears.
"Oh no, I made her disappear too? What else!?" I yell
"Keith calm down, that wasn't you." Sydnee brushes the strands of hair out of my face and holds my head in her hands.
"Deep breaths Keith, in and out." She says slowly
"In and out" I repeat
"Willow is with Casper, I sent her there. It was faster than having you call him, I'm going to ask him to link her together with him. So that if someone or something hurts one of them the other will automatically feel the pain and know." Sydnee says, we sit on my bed so I can calm down.
Once I am calm and ready to go see Willow, we walk out of my room, through the living area, out of the dorm and a couple steps to the right of our dorm. The door opens reveals everyone staring at us, oh no is it bad?
"How is she?" Sydnee asks
"She's awake but I made her sleep so her headache would go away. Who caused the problem?" Anthony asks and that's when I notice Casper wasn't in this room, probably with Willow.
"I did" I say
"What happened?" He asked
"I was frustrated that I couldn't learn as fast as her, she tried to comfort me and I threw her across the room. I wasn't thinking about hurting her or even laying a hand on her, witch I didn't since it was like a mind of it's own." I explain
"That's fine, we will get it all sorted out." Victoria says
