Shane's POV:

Once I knew Joey was asleep, I decided to look for his journal again. After a few minutes of searching, I found it in the middle of his dresser and closet and opened it.

I'll put it back before Joey knows and then we'll be fine. I found a entry from today and it was a song.

                                                                          April 25, 2014

So me and Shane finally got together today! i couldn't be happier because I knew Shane was the one for me since the day I met him.

That part made me grin so big.

                                                           "Secret Love"

Once I Had A Secret Love

That lived within the heart of me

All too soon my secret love

Became impatient to be free

So i told a friendly star

The way that dreamers often do

Just how wonderful you are

And why i'm so in love with you

Now i shout it from the highest hill

I even told you the golden daffodil

At least my heart's an open door

And my secret love's no secret anymore

Now i shout it from the highest hill

I even told you the golden dafodill

At least my heart's an open door

And my secret love's no secret

My secret love's no secret

My secret love's no secret anymore

I just feel as if this song is speaking to me. I better stop writing before Shane sees me :P

This is the cutest thing i've ever read because Joey will write anything he thinks in this book.

Joeys POV

I woke up to find Shane wasn't beside me and panicked a bit, until I saw him sitting on my couch, but what is he doing..

Wait a second. HE'S READING MY JOURNAL! THAT LYING BASTARD

I was gonna yell at him until I had an Idea...

Shane's POV

I found this entry from a few months ago and smiled

I found this blog post on how to tell someone you like them and I found it helpful

"Sometimes it can be difficult to communicate how much you care for a person. Whether you like expressing yourself through words, kind gestures, or gifts, here are a few ideas to help you tell your loved one how you feel. Say it!

Take some time to think about what you value most about your loved one, what makes them important to you, and what they bring to your life. If you feel comfortable telling them aloud, let them know how much they mean to you over a nice meal or on a long, meandering walk together. If the thought of saying it out loud makes you nervous, a nice card or beautifully-written letter can be just as wonderful a gift. Plus, your loved one will have a concrete memento of the moment. If you're not great with words, gestures go a long way in helping your partner feel loved and cared for. Help them out with a difficult project or task, whether it is schoolwork or chores around the house. Show interest in their hobbies and encourage them to be fulfilled in their lives. Do kind things for them unprompted, like bringing them a treat to work.

Give a gift! This kind of gesture can be really important to some people, and less important to others. In general, giving a gift should be considered supplemental to expressing your love with words or kind gestures. Take care in choosing your gift, and think about what kind of gift would mean the most to your loved one—would they appreciate a meal at a fine restaurant? A piece of jewelry? A photo album of the two of you? Keep in mind the appropriateness of the gift, what occasion you're marking, and your partner's taste."

Maybe I could use this with Shane...

I decided to put this back before he caught me and then I crawled back into bed with him and fell back asleep.
