Virgo

The Zodiacs sat at the table, eating their breakfast. A few were joking around while others were trying to keep their eyes open. Mr Lacerta was not downstairs yet.

"Virgo, honey." Libra leaned tiredly against him.

"What?"

"Nothing." Libra smiled tiredly and ate her breakfast. Virgo rolled his eyes at her. Today was the first day of school, and Virgo was not looking up for it. Mr Lacerta walked downstairs with a few sheets of paper in his hand.

"Good morning, everyone." He greeted with a smile. Virgo saw Libra roll her eyes at him.

"That's nice." She mumbled. Virgo giggled softly.

"These are your timetables." Mr Lacerta handed a sheet of paper to each person. Virgo stared at his, not really paying attention to what it said. He was dyslexic. It only affected his English and Literature marks though. It was kind of ironic.

"Being dyslexic doesn't make you any less intelligent," was what his grandmother has always told him.

"School starts in ten minutes everyone. I suggest you all make your way to the school." Said Mr Lacerta. Virgo heard Scorpio groan when he got up to get his school bag.

"That's what he gets for staying up late." Virgo heard Pisces say.

"Let's go." Said Libra. His bag was in her hand. He took it from her.

"What lesson do you have first?" Asked Virgo. Libra studied her timetable.

"Physics." She said. Virgo nodded and stared at his own timetable.

"I have biology." He said.

"Well that sucks. I hate biology." She said. She wasn't wrong. Biology only sucked when they learnt about something boring.

They reached the building with four minutes to spare. Virgo left Libra and walked to his biology class. He walked in and saw a few people from the house. He only knew Scorpio and Capricorn, who were in his class. Virgo sat in front of Scorpio. An old woman with white hair and incredibly deep wrinkles walked in.

"Good morning class. I am miss Crux and welcome to your biology class." She said with and ugly smile. The rest of the lessons that morning were a blur. All Virgo had been thinking about was lunch. The bell rang signalling the beginning of the lunch period. He and Scorpio found their way to the lunch room. They looked around until they found a table with a few people from the house. Virgo sat next to Scorpio who was sitting next to Taurus.

"Taurus, honey." Called a voice. Virgo looked around but couldn't find the source of the voice. He then saw a girl with short curly hair and green-grey eyes.

"Aries, honey." Taurus yelled back. Virgo ignored their yelling and looked for Gemini. He sat two people away from him. Virgo sat quietly because Gemini was talking to Leo and Scorpio was talking to Pisces.

Our of boredom, Virgo tried to read the back of his soft drink bottle. The words made out a message.

I have arrived and I'm coming for you. Virgo looked around and looked back at the bottle. The message was still their.

"Libra. Come here please." Said Virgo, creeped out by the message. Libra walked to him.

"What?" She asked annoyed.

"Can you read this?" Virgo pointed at the words on the bottle.

"Two hundred grams of sugar! Stop drinking this shit." Libra grabbed the bottle and tossed it into the trash.

"What the fuck, Lib?" Virgo said frustrated. He looked at his textbook and saw the message. He showed Libra.

"Listen hon. I have no idea what the fuck you're trying to tell me, but just say it instead of pointing at a bunch of bullshit." Libra said. Virgo looked away from her. Maybe he was just hallucinating. He saw Cap walk up to him.

"Why didn't you call me?" Said Capricorn impatiently. Virgo rolled his eyes.

"I don't need your help. I'm fine." He said to her, annoyed that she wouldn't drop the subject.

"But-" The bell cut Cap off. Virgo smiled at her before getting up and walking to his next class, History. There he noticed everyone from the house was there. No one from a different constellation group was there either. Virgo sat in between Scorpio and Gemini. The woman from the large hall walked into the classroom.

"Good afternoon class. I'm miss Orion and I'm your history and astronomy teacher." Said the woman, who was now known.

"Before we start out lesson do any of you have and questions?" She asked. Virgo looked around. No had any questions.

"I'm going to start with the reason as to why you are all here." She started, "Each one of you is the offspring of a Zodiac sign. Your parents in the sky were once like you. They themselves are also offspring of the Zodiacs before them." Everyone in the class looked confused.

"The Zodiacs were human beings as well. Some for married and had a few of you, while others slept and left. You were all born from either your earth mother or star mother. Do you all understand so far?" Most just stared at the woman and others nodded their heads.

"Good. Once your constellation parent dies, they replace the one before them in the sky. Your parent on earth is left to raise you. Then-" Miss Orion was cut off by someone in the back.

"Where are our star parents then?" Asked a girl in the back.

"Well, all your star parents are in the sky now." Miss Orion said with a sad smile. Virgo didn't mind. He knew his father but he died. He was raised without his mother, who he assumed is the Virgo. He was then sent to live with his grandmother.

"Unless you have a sibling from your star parents, you will have to have your own children. Any questions?" The woman looked around and no one needed to ask anything.

"You are dismissed." She said right as the bell rang.
