"Let's go!" Wyatt exclaimed, jumping up and down.
"Noodles, you're gonna have to calm down buddy." Jack said.
"Fred Savage. Do not tell noodles, I mean Wyatt, to calm down." I laughed.
Jaeden and all the other boys giggled, causing me to laugh.
Finn and Chosen weren't ready yet. So, I went to sat on the stairs.
I scrolled through Instagram, when suddenly I felt the empty space next to me become filled.

I looked up so see Jaeden sitting next to me, smiling.

"Hey Jae!" I exclaimed.
"Hey Audrey." He whispered, happily.
"Are you excited for the fair?" He asked.
I nodded my head 'yes'
"Jaeden, I'm like super tired!" I said, laughing.
"Here." He said, patting his shoulder.
"God. Jaeden, what would I do without you?" I asked, resting my head on his shoulder.

"I think it's the other way around." Jaeden whispered.
I blushed.

"Ok lovebirds!" Wyatt exclaimed.
Jack glared at Jaeden and me.
I mouthed 'Jack! Stop!'
Jaeden and me got up and walked to the front door.

Jack and my,parents were at work so, we had to order an Uber.
"Our drivers outside!" Finn yelled.
"We know, Finn." Jack said, annoyed.

Jack sat in the front with the driver.
Finn, Wyatt, and Chosen sat in the middle, while Jaeden and I sat in the very back.

The carnival was forty five minutes so, we were in the car for awhile.
Jack was annoying the driver, but the driver found it hilarious.
Wyatt and Chosen fell asleep and Finn had his headphones in.
Jaeden and I stayed up, talking.

"Hey." He whispered.
"Hey" I said back.i
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"Talking to a cute boy." I said, smiling.
Jaeden smiled and blushed back.

— at the carnival —
"Let's go get our tickets!" Chosen exclaimed.
"Ok." We all said.
I snap chatted Jaeden and Wyatt dancing.
Jack snap chatted his food.
Then we finally decided to get on a ride.
We decided to ride the Ferris wheel last.
So we would ride the 'thrilling' rides first.

"I call riding with Jaeden!" I yelled.
"Why?" Wyatt asked, laughing.
"Because unlike you girls, he doesn't yell in my ear." I admitted.
"That's true." Jack said.
I looked over at Jaeden and he smiled.

"Ok! Let's go!" I exclaimed.
All the boys laughed at my excitement.

I jumped in the seat on a ride called 'skull crusher' which already scared me enough. I buckled my seatbelt in and made sure that Jaeden was in the seat next to me.
"Are you okay, Audrey?" He asked.
"Yea.. yea I'm... I'm good." I said, in an insecure voice.
"Okay. Well, I'm here." He said, smiling.
"How lucky I am for that!" I said, blushing.

All of a sudden, the ride started and I jumped a little.
"It's okay, Audrey." Jaeden said, laughing.
The cart went up the hill thing.
I looked down at the bottom and felt my face get hot with fear.
"Jaeden." I scream whispered.
"Here" He said, putting his arm around me "is this okay?"
I smiled.
Jaeden was an incredibly sweet boy. He always asks me if somethings "okay?" When he is really trying to flirt. It usually is, but it is so cute.
"Yea, i think it is." I smiled at him.
He smiled at me.
I could feel jacks eyes on us, but this time they weren't filled with anger.
— the last ride —
"Hey guys! The line for the Ferris wheel is not long, let's go ahead." Chosen suggested.
"Yea!" Jack exclaimed, as he jumped up and down.
"Who gave this dude sugar?" I asked, pointing to jack.
"That would be me." Finn said, pointing to himself.
"Well, you're an idiot." I said, laughing.
We all laughed and ran to get in line for the Ferris Wheel.

Jaeden and I were behind the rest of the group.
We were finally the first people in line.
"Hey only four to a cart!" The rude lady at the front of the ride said.
"Hey, me and Jaeden can ride together." I said.
"Okay... that sucks we all can't ride together though." Finn said.
"Yea I know." Jaeden said.

We walked too our cart, cart seventeen.
Finn, Chosen, Wyatt, and jack were in cart thirteen.

We were at the top of the Ferris wheel.
The sun was setting and I looked at Jaeden who was staring at me, from the seat across.

"Hey there." I said, smiling.
"Hey you." He said.
"So, what's up?" I asked.
"Just talking to a beautiful girl." He said.
"Ooh nice, you went from pretty to beautiful." I laughed.
"Yea. It's kind of hard not to, when I'm talking about you." He blushed.
"Awwww jaeden!" I exclaimed.
He smiled and blushed more.
I blushed too.
— time to go home —

The boys had to go home, but they all lived really close.
"Hey goodnight guys." Jack said, he was really tired so he just went back up stairs to his room.

All the boys walked home except Jaeden. I was still standing in the doorway, with my arms shoved into the oversized sleeves of my beige cardigan.

"Goodnight Audrey." He said, giving me a side hug.
"Hey Jae, before you go.." I began to say.
He nodded his head to let me know I'm listening.
"I just wanted to say I had a lot of fun tonight." I said.
"Me too." He said, blushing.
I smiled and nodded.
"Goodnight JaeJae. Love you." I said, hugging him.
"Love you, Audrey. Have a goodnight." He said, wrapping his arms around my neck.

Jaeden smiled at me then walked away. I closed the door and slid down it. I don't wanna sound sappy, but I felt almost empty without his arms around me. We weren't even dating, but that didn't matter.

I decided to just walk upstairs.
I changed from my jeans to a pair of athletic shorts.
I slipped my cardigan off and tossed it on the floor.
I almost forgot.
I walked out of my bedroom and knocked on Jacks door.

"What's up, Audrey?" He asked.
"Can't your beautiful sister say goodnight?!" I laughed.
We couldn't wake up my parents, because they weren't here.
They were on a business trip. They had texted Jack while we were at the fair.
"Ok! Goodnight Sis!" Jack yelled.
"Goodnight." I said.
"Did you lock the doors?" Jack asked, coming out of his room.
"And the windows." I said.
"Ok goodnight sis." He said.
"Night Fred Savage." I laughed.
He rolled his eyes and laughed, shutting the door in my face.

I laughed back to my room and closed the door. I slid down into the warm covers and cuddled up to the blanket, I've had since I was four.
Best. Night. Ever.
