I woke up earlier than usual. I rolled over to face my phone and checked the time. It was nine forty five.

"Hmm." I mumbled to myself.

I rolled back over and closed my eyes real right for a few moments. Then, I decided it was time to wake up. I extended my arms and rubbed my eyes.

I stretched out of bed and pulled on my all white fluffy socks. I proceeded downstairs to see a tired jack, half asleep on the kitchen table.

"Jack." I said "what are you doing?"

He snored.

"Ugh. Gross." I laughed.
"Jack!" I exclaimed again.

He jumped up as a spatula was in his hand.

"Audrey!" He said.

"Yea, why do you have moms spatula?" I asked, giggling.

"Sorry." He laughed "I didn't get a lot of sleep last night."

I folded my arms because it was so cold.

"Is Jaeden coming over later?" I asked, happily.

"Maybe. He doesn't know if he can yet. He has to go back down to set for a little bit." Jack explained.

"Ugh." I groaned.

"What's wrong?" Jack asked, climbing off the kitchen table.

"Nothing. Really. It's nothing." I said.

"Ok..." Jack said, string out the 'K'

I moved over to the Keurig to make a cup of hot chocolate because I don't drink coffee.

"Jack, you want something?" I asked, pointing to the coffee maker.

"Yea, a Starbucks vanilla blend and then can you add two percent milk and sugar." He said.

"Anything for you, princess." I laughed.

"Hey!" He laughed.

As i stared down the bottom of my coffee mug. I heard my phone ding, causing me to jump.

I looked down and it was Jaeden calling me.

"Hey you." He said, laughing.

"Hey Jae!" I exclaimed.

"Can you come over today?" I asked.

"I'll have to see. But, it looks like I can. It'll be about an hour though." He informed.

"I don't care. I just really want to see you." I said.

Jack was in the shower so, it's not like I was saying all this right in front of him.

"And I wanna see you." He said.

"Ok. I love you Jaeden." I said.

"Yea.. about that. Audrey, when I get there.. can we talk?" He asked, sounding concerned.

"Uhmm Yea. Yes. Yes we can." I said, nervously.

"Ok. Great. Bye Audrey." Jaeden said.

"Bye Jae." I said, ending the call.

What was this? He didn't say I love you. Ever since last night, we've texted five times. Every time, he said I love you Audrey. Or love you Audrey. What does he wanna talk about? Are things getting too serious? Did he find someone else?

I sipped the last remaining bit of my hot chocolate. I was beginning to stress out.

"It's okay Audrey." I whispered to myself, as I got up to get dressed.

I changed into a navy blue off the shoulder sweater with a pair of black leggings and all black wedges. I put on a little makeup. I just wore burgundy lipstick, eyeliner, mascara, and eyebrows.

My parents still weren't home from their trip. They're supposed to be back next week though.

"Audrey!" Jack called.

"What's wrong?" I yelled.

"There's a spider in the shower with me!" He yelled.

"Kill it! What do you want me too do?" I laughed.

"I wanted you too kill it." Jack admitted.

"No thanks. You got this". I laughed.

No matter how dumb jack is, my mind still went to Jaeden.
