Rin was lying in wait for me, just outside the school entrance, as I saw her wave to me I thought I was going to throw up. Next to her was my female friend school council, the one that tried to contact the police about the anonymous threats. She lived in the same direction as Rin, who had organised the three of us walk home together.
Before we set off Rin took a moment to show me the context of her bag. Inside was a knife and the stun gun. As we walked I seriously started considering option three, If i was fast enough I might be able to knock her out before she had the chance to go for the knife or the stun gun. She mumbled under her breath at random intervals
"I can slit her throat whenever I want to"
As soon as we were in a deserted spot. Rin took out the knife, the girl with us just stared completely bewildered, ignoring the girl Rin looked me straight in the eyes and said
"Do you love me or do you love her"
The girl let out a nervous giggle as if this was a joke, but as soon as she noticed I wasn't smiling she too began to look worried. I realised at this point what I had to do, there was no way I could reason with Rin. When I didn't answer she opened up her bag to take out the stun gun. Thinking that this was my only chance I threw my bag at her with all my strength, even if she was fucking nuts she was still a girl. The force of the bag sent her tumbling to the ground, I immediately grabbed the other girls hand and ran, even as we distanced ourselves we could hear Rins demented screams.
With both of our statements Rin was taken into custody, she wasn't sent to prison as suspected she had immediately disposed of the knife and stun gun before the police came to our house. But thankfully since she blackmailed so many other students it was enough to get her expelled from school.
Throughout the police investigation i also discovered why those girls kept dumping me, Rin had been sending them death threats aswell I was her target from the beginning. The way I look at all of this it was karma for me being such a cocky little shit during high school.
Sadly this story doesn't end on a happy note but at least I can say no one got killed. And ever since I haven't seen or heard from Rin, I really hope it stays that way.
