Chapter 2: All Around Me Are Familiar Faces!!!

It turned out that we both had the same second and third period. I was glad that I made a friend that can help me with homework and with getting used to the school.

Noah was also around and uncomfortably close so I've been trying to ignore him and avoid him.

When school was done, me and Lillia both agreed to meet up at the library to do homework together and yes, sadly, they gave me homework on the first day.

We then said our goodbyes and went our separate ways till 6:00 pm which is when we decided to meet up. It would have been earlier but Lillia was stuck taking care of her brothers.

I then got on my motorcycle and started to head home.

When I got there I made lasagna, I ate some and left the rest in the fridge so when Ray comes back from work, he can heat some up for himself. Mom probably ate already anyway but there definitely was more then enough for her if she wanted any.

I saw that I had a lot of time left in my hands I took a shower and put on a black tank top, some shorts, and I tied a black sweater around my waste.

It's usually hot where I live but I would never leave home without a sweater. Well, except for when I'm in school, even though today was my first time in a school and I just forgot it, it does get pretty hot in there, even with the AC on.

I looked at the time.

4:55 pm.

I decided to get some sleep so I put an alarm for 5:45 and fell asleep before my face hit my pillow.

Sarina's dream:

I woke up in my old pack house.
The memory of it was always a bit blurry. I only remembered a few details in my room. It wasn't as big as my parent's room but it was still pretty big. It was a master bedroom with a king sized bed. It might have had a walk in closet but I'm not sure nor did I look in the direction of where it would have been.

The walls were a nice turquoise color, but that was as far as I remembered. So that's what was presented before me.

I walked out of my room and all of a sudden, I'm outside. I see rouges everywhere, and killing everyone I know, including both of my parents. I yelled for it to stop. I begged, I screamed, I cried, but that didn't stop them.

One glared at me. They were a brown wolf with yellow eyes, they pounced on me as I heard a loud beeping sound.

I sat up a bit panicked. I never got much sleep because I would always have nightmares about what happend in my old pack house sometimes adding people, sometimes subtracting who dies, but it's always that theme. Though, I do get good dreams and just empty blackness. But that's pretty rare.

I looked at the time and saw that it was 5:45pm.

I quickly brushed my hair, grabbed my stuff and rode to the library.

I saw Lillia waiting in the enterince, She spotted me and smiled. I parked my bike and walked up to Lillia.

"For a second, I thought you weren't going to come." Lillia sighed shakong her head and had her arms crossed.

I looked at the time on my phone.

"But it's 6:01!" I protested.

Lillia laughed.

"I was just messing around, common, let's go get started, the library closes at 8 and I'm not allowed to stay any later either. If we finish early I'll buy us something to eat."

My eyes lit up at the mention of food.

"What are we waiting for then?!"

I basically dragged her into the library and we both sat down by a computer and started our homework.

We ended up finishing around 8. I was a little disappointed but I still could grab a snack before heading home.

I waved goodbye to Sarina and hopped on my motorcycle, put on my helmet, and drove off.

As I was riding, I stopped at a red light and heard a low growl near me.

The light turned green and I ignored the growl and decided it was just
a stray dog.

At least I hoped that it was.

I kept going but I just felt like something was following me, so I decided to ride into the woods hearing twigs snap behind me but at the same time, that could just be my heavy bike.

Now kids, don't follow my example, I rode a motorcycle into the woods. Not onlybis that dangerous but I was going towards danger instead of avoiding it.

My heart raced and I decided to stop at a clearing, I quickly took off my helmet and decided to mind link Noah since he was never too far away.

'Hey Noah?'

'Yea?'

'I'm in the woods near the house, I think something is following me...I'm in a clearing near the road.'

'I'm on my way.'

Something tackled me and I was too destracted to dodge.

I fell on to the floor with a huge figure on top of me with obviously no good intentions...
