Angel if Called (chapter 1)

Chapter 1

The legend of The Yigata tribe is that one day, an angel will come when a time of darkness comes and people need help. When the legend was first told, they believed that she would come in drought or poverty. They never dreamed she would come to help someone who's heart was yearning for the one they could not have. But that was how it would be. And I'm here to tell you my story.

My name is Ina Haf. I am 17. And I am the angel when called.

She was very beautiful. Black hair, pale skin, and bright blue eyes. She was lovely on the inside too; kind, empatheic, and caring. Yet, the boy she loved never realized she existed. This girl was named Danea Scan. This is her story.

She arrived at Tribe Memorial School on December 1st of 2011. I felt a strange sort of feeling as I passed by Danea. I didn't know her yet, but the feeling was there all the same. I knew she had an issue she felt deeply about. I realized she was staring at me. I was a bit out of place there, having pink hair and grey eyes instead of black hair and blue eyes like the rest. She looked the same as all of them. Just kinder in some way. She turned and looked at my cousin, Tod Lai. He looked a little like me, I guess. Just in guy form.

"Hey, Tod! Over here!" I called. He saw me and came running to give me a hug.

"When did you grow those?" he said eyeing my chest.

"Tod, you're my cousin. Don't be a pervert. And that girl is staring at you by the way," I said. "She may like perverted wierdos." I ran into my boyfriend of 2 years, Dean Gi, on my way to class.

"Hey, baby. Run much?" he said with a smirk.

"I'm gonna be late for History. Let me go please." I said, jerking away from him.

"They are all dead, don't worry, babe."

I ran to catch up with Danea. "Hi," I said out of breath, "I'm Ina."

"Hi. I'm Danea. Do you know the guy who looks like you as a man, with blonde hair?"

"Just my know-it-all cousin, Tod Lai"

"Cool. So you are not his girlfriend?"

"Would a pink-haired alternative chick date a blonde, stupid, perverted football player?", didn't think so"

She laughed. "I guess not at this school! Hey, completely off subject here, but can I sit with you at lunch?

I seriously stopped in my tracks and looked at her. "Does my hair change color everyweek?!?!?"

"Do you?"

"No, a magical unicorn does it. Yeah, you can sit with me and Gaya...meet me in the hall in front of the cafeteria. Oh, and Tod sits with us"

Now she stopped walking. "Serious?"

"Yeah. See you later!"

And with that, I ran to history, thinking 'someone likes Tod, she has a crush on Tod!' So why had I talked to her? I usually hate new kids. So what made her special?
