"I saw him yesterday"
It's funny how I throw that sentence around like I actually saw you face to face, in the flesh. I say it like this was a preplanned thing we had organised to actually see each other . I say it as if we've reverted back to normal and things are how they once were.
You wanna know the sad part? No matter how I say it the truth is, it was only I who saw you as you walked past my bus. It was not mutual, there was no preplanned meet up and things definitely aren't how they used to be.
It was the first time I'd seen you in months only this time - I was just a girl sitting on the bus, and you were nothing more than a stranger just passing by.
