Part 7 - Movie night

Frisk's POV

It's been a couple months since the accident and Chara has been making sure nothing like that ever happened again. It's really sweet of Chara to care about me so much. After a while I kinda started to feel different towards Chara. It was like any time she wasn't in the room, I was missing something. She made me whole, the room lit up whenever I was around her. She was one of the most important things in my life but I mean that's probably just because she's my best friend, right? 

*You can't avoid it forever.* something in my mind said. *You can't keep hiding it from yourself.* it said again. 

I shook the thoughts. I knew that was the voice of reason, my subconscious trying to get me to acknowledge the truth, but I found it hard. I didn't want to admit the truth to myself. I had started to love Chara.

School had just ended and I had the weekend to spend with Chara. I knew Chara liked me and now I was starting to gain those feelings back for her. I should be happy about this but it only scarred me. What would happen if we did start dating? Would it change how we act around each other? What if it didn't work out and we broke up? What would happen to our friendship? I didn't want to think about it. This is why I could never confess to Chara. I didn't want to ruin what we have so I would suppress my feelings. Regardless, I still loved hanging out with Chara as a friend. This weekend, mom was going to be out on business so me and Chara had the house to ourselves. 

"Hey Chara, do you want to watch a movie tonight?" I asked. 

"Uh, sure." Chara complied.

~Time skip~

It was about 8 o'clock when we sat down on the couch to watch the movie. I put on the movie Titanic and sat close to Chara. Every now and then during the movie, I would take a glance at her. I couldn't really focus on the movie, I couldn't seem to get Chara off my mind. Probably about half way through the movie I glanced over to Chara and saw her looking back at me. Our eyes connected and before I knew what was going on, I was leaning towards her. I connected our lips in a kiss and Chara started to kiss back. I wrapped my arms around Chara. We broke the kiss only after we had exhausted ourselves. Panting, we lied against each other and went back to watching the movie. I guess I just couldn't keep to myself.

Chara's POV

I looked over to Frisk to make sure she was alright and I caught her looking back at me. Our eyes connected and Frisk pressed her lips to mine, I did the same. The feeling sent tingling chills through my entire being. It was electric, almost magical. I loved this. I loved her. We didn't pull away from each other until we grew tired. Panting, we cuddled up to each other and went back to watching the movie. I want to do that again...
