Shōta PoV
I walked down the corridor towards Hizashi's classroom. Before I entered, I could hear the sound of Akio's laugh, and realised that this would probably be the last time in a long time that I would hear it. I prepared myself as I opened the door.
Akio PoV
Mitsuko and I were goofing around when Shōta walked in. He walked straight across the classroom and whispered something into Hizashi's ear.
'Akio. Come.' Shōta called.
I got up and followed my brother, confused.
'Wassup?' I asked when we got outside. I glanced at my brother's face and it had a pained expression painted across it. 'Jeez, you alright? You look like you're on your man period.' I laughed at my own joke, but he didn't say anything, only looked at me strangely.
Something is really wrong...
My brother looked at me deeply, and sighed.
'I... Well... There's no other way to break it to you.... Our parents... They died half an hour ago...' As he said these words, tears rushed down his face, falling onto the floor in streams of pure agony. Wordlessly, I enveloped him in a hug, as my tears soaked into his clothes.
