         Ashlie screamed underwater, her face still as red as a ripe strawberry. She came back up for air, her hair no longer on fire but she continued going underwater as Jon stood by the edge of the pond with a concerned expression as Ashlie had lifted herself up from the water for a breather before drowning herself back in the pond once more.

"U-Um.. A-Atlie..?" Jon hesitantly called to her, Ashlie gasped for air as she had lifted her up from the water and shaking her head like a wet dog.

"Y-Yeah?" Ashlie responded, Jon cleared his throat as he shifted around on the grass uncomfortably.

"U-Uhh.. Are you okay?" Jon asked in complete worry and concern as Ashlie had heaved a sigh and trudged through the water to get to Jon.

"Oh yeah, definitely, I'm just drowning myself for no reason at all!" She responded sarcastically, she pulled herself onto the grass spot next to Jon and sighed, her now maroon hair dripping wet along with her navy blue sweater and shorts with her cat socks.

"U-Umm.." Jon nodded, "O-Okay.."

"Just.. Seeing a man shirtless for the first time with no warning can just.. Surprise.. Me.. Yeah sure.." Ashlie sighed and shook her head, Jon blinked before he shuffled closer to Ashlie, nudging her.

"You've never seen your brother without a shirt--?" To response to that Ashlie strikes Jon upside the head, causing the jester to wince and rub the area where Ashlie had smacked.

"That's different you idiot!--" Ashlie began to yell, but stopped once Jon had his eyes dilated in shock, she sucked in a breath, luckily her hair was wet so she couldn't catch on fire.

"S-Sorry I.. Um.." Ashlie shook her head, "Just.. Sorry.." She heaved a sigh once more as she pulled her legs up to her chest, placing her chin on her knees as she wrapped her arms around her legs, keeping in them in place.

"It's fine.." Jon responded, leaning his head against Ashlie's shoulder as he had dipped his feet into the cool pond, his purple boots placed beside him as his green and purple leggings were rolled up to his knees. Ashlie slowly narrowed her eyes as she leaned her head against Jon's in return, staring at their reflection in the pool as it wavered when

"Thanks for actually sticking around and still being my friend even after discovering.. That.. Ya know?" Ashlie nudged him gently as a smile tugged at Jon's lips,

"It's no problem, you were still my friend even when you got those powers.. And when you just went on fire but didn't freak out the slightest.. I-I just thought it was really cool..!" Jon says, "Even if you were a demon or an angel.. I would still be your friend.." Ashlie smiled as she slowly closed her eyes.

"And even if you were obnoxious towards me, I wouldn't kill ya.." Ashlie joked. But the joke didn't seem to get through Jon's head as he had squeaked and shuffled away from Ashlie and almost making her fall over.

Ashlie giggled at Jon's reaction, "I wasn't being serious, ya doofus.." Ashlie said, grabbing Jon's hand and pulling him towards his original spot. Jon chuckled, easing up,

"O-Oh.. Sorry.." Jon scratched the back of his head awkwardly, "Where are Tommy and Nick? I haven't seen them.." Jon asked, Ashlie hummed as she shrugged and looked around.
