I managed to stand up. I tried to sneak over to the dropped gun, but suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my back. I tripped and fell. I guessed that the man in black or one of his friends had seen me and threw a knife in my back. I lied on the floor, my whole body burning with pain.

Sorry the release date keeps increasing, guys. The book just keeps getting longer and longer XD Blue's POV currently has 16 chapters, compared to the previous book, The Way Things Were, which only has about 14 chapters.
