well this is it the last two chapters of this story i hope you liked it and i can't believe it's over. well tell me what you think of the story over all or just the last couple chapters let me know so read, vote, comment. hope you enjoyed.
Chapter 7
*Jacobs POV*
She came down from upstairs looking rather happy but whatever it seemed as if she regretted it so I chose not to question her. She came over to me where Leah and Christina were playing pin the tail on Benny the bull with all their friends. Half and hour later I saw James coming from upstairs he gave Leah and Christina a hug followed by Vanessa and left the house. Vanessa then gave me a hug and a long passionate kiss, "What was that for?" I asked
"Because I love you" she answered as if it was plain and easy to see
"Love you too" I said but I couldn't help but wonder what happened between her and James, upstairs she couldn't have done anything right I mean not when we were married, I understand that we were forced together but she seems happy now why would she want to be with him. I decided I would worry about that later and enjoy my children's birthday party with them.
Vanessa's POV
The party was over and everyone had left Jake was upstairs giving Leah and Christina a bath and then put them in bed. It had been about half an hour and Jake come downstairs.
"Hey Vanessa can we talk for a minute?" Jake asked
"Yeah of course." I answered automatically.
" uhm, what happened with you and James at the party you came down looking rather happy." he said
"Nothing Jake why would you think something happened." I said
"well, the look on your face said an awful lot and I went into the room and the bed was awfully messy so don't lie to me Vanessa." he said
"Crap Jake, I don't know what happened one minute James and I are talking and the next he's kissing me then we're having sex, you have to believe that I never wanted it to happen." I said almost in tears now.
"You had sex with him." he yelled in a whispered tone trying not to wake the babies.
"Jake I never wanted it to happen." I said through tears
"But you didn't stop him did you? You had sex with him during your own kids birthday party." he said yelling now.
"Jake please don't you know I love you more than anything, well besides Leah and Christina, I love you not him." I said although it was a lie.
" don't lie to me Vanessa, you love him and we all know it I see the way you look at him you can't deny it you love him and always have, well you know what we're adults now and we don't have to stay together because of some arranged marriage anymore you stay tonight and I want you out by tomorrow night pack all your crap and get out of my house." he said shouting at me.
" Jacob please don't do this you know I love you, and Leah and Christina love you too they know you as their dad and you are legally their dad what about them?" I pleaded with him
"take them with you I don't want either of them here." he said with disgust in his voice and I didn't know what I was going to do I couldn't call mom or dad they would be disappointed we had only been married a year we couldn't even have an anniversary party because of the babies now we were getting a divorce. Suddenly I had an idea James would take me to live with him he told me in one of his letters that he had an apartment that was all his I would go and live with James he would surely love to have his daughters with him in his house we could be a happy family and it would all be ok.
I went upstairs and picked up the phone and called the all to familiar number to get hold of James hopefully he would talk to me still. After 5 or so minutes James answered his phone.
"hello" he said
"James?" I asked through tears
"Vanessa what's wrong?" he asked
"Oh James it's awful can you come and get me tomorrow around 3 please I need somewhere for me and the girls to stay for awhile if that's alright?" I asked
"Yes of course Vanessa, you, Leah and Christina can come stay with me what happened" he asked again.
" uhm Jacob found out about what happened at the party and well he said we should just... well.... Uhm we're getting a divorce he said he wants nothing to do with the girls and I'm perfectly ok with that but I'm packing what I can in two diaper bags and 3 tote bags and I'll get the rest when I can and Leah Christina and I are coming to your house when you come pick us up at 3 ok I'll see you then." I said
"see you Vanessa" he said
"Bye, love you." I said
"Love you too." he answered and I hung up the phone and went up to check on Leah and Christina who happened to sleep through the whole fight.
"Don't worry babies mommy is going to take care of you and we will go see your real daddy and live with him you won't have to deal with Jacob again." I said to my sleeping babies. That's when I noticed something different I felt different exactly how I did when I was pregnant with my two beautiful daughters could it be possible that I was pregnant again.
Epilogue.
Vanessa's POV
1 year later
"James, come on now we have to pick up David and Marcus from the daycare so we can take them with us to the family reunion." I shouted up the stairs. Then I watched James walk down the stairs with Leah and Christina who were dressed in the sun dresses they had just turned two today and mom wanted to have a family party for the girls with just all the family members. James and I were now married for just of 3 months and we were happy mom didn't care and James was 20 and I was 19. David and Marcus are our twin boys who are 2 months old and were spending the day with my cousin who runs the local daycare while we spent the morning with the girls for their birthday and made their individual princess cakes Ariel for Leah and Cinderella for Christina. I was happy with my life now. I don't like what it took to get here but I don't regret ever marrying Jacob he changed my life and I did truly love him he was sweet and kind but not who I wanted to be with forever we found that out the hard way. Mom wasn't happy when she heard of the divorce and even more upset when I got remarried not even a year later, dad didn't care though he was always happy as long as I was, he even later admitted that his marriage with mom was arranged but he didn't regret it he said he had grown to love my mother. I haven't had much contact with her till she insisted we have a family reunion for the girls second birthday party.
We picked up David and Marcus and drove to the camp sit where my large family and James' family would meet for the party. Leah and Christina ran from the car toward their grandparents giving them a big hug then the went toward the rest of the family and of course ran toward the big banner with princesses all over it that read 'Happy Birthday Princess Leah and Princess Christina' with big 2 written all over it. We quickly got David and Marcus from the car seats and carried them over to meet their grandparents.
The party overall was so much fun and I think life will be so much better now Mom and I now get along since we got to know each other better at the party so I think everything will get better for me at least for now till I have to teach Leah and Christina about puberty and boys then we will have a problem till then I am happy living with James and my 4 little babies as one big happy family after all this time.
