Chapter 3
"Mom! Why didn't you tell me that i would be sharing an apartmemt with 4 boys!" I half-screamed into the phone.
"Becca, It was the only apartment i could find in such a short period of time." she explained calmly while I was pacing back and forth in my room like a mad woman.
"Fine," I grumbled.
"Don't sleep too late and remember to go to school tomorrow," she reminded before hanging up. I groaned and flopped onto the bed. There was a soft knock on the door and Calum's head popped in.
"Hey Becca, the boys and I are about to head to the ice-cream shop in town. Wanna come along?" he asked. Ice-cream? Count me in!
"Yeah sure, just give me 5. I need to change." I replied.
"Sure," he said, still standing in my room. I looked at him while he just stood there.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Change!" he said, not getting out of the room.
"Calum! Get out!" I shouted, pointing at the door.
"Oh right! Kay byeee," he chuckled, getting out.
I laughed at him and changed. As I took off my jacket, a piece of paper flew out of its pocket. I picked the piece of paper up.
Call me maybe? -020 7359 2307
From the guy who bumped into you at the airport(;
I chuckled at the note and stuffed it into the pocket of my shorts. I walked out of my room and saw all four boys sitting on the couch, waiting for me.
"Let's go get some ice-cream!" Michael cheered. The five of us arrived at the ice-cream shop and ordered some ice-cream.
"So, how did the four of you meet?" I asked with a spoonful of cookie dough ice-cream in my mouth.
"Calum, Michael and I met in middle school and we decided to move in together just last year. Ashton here, just moved in in January, and now, the four of us are best buds." Luke said, flashing me a charming smile. No, Becca, don't blush, don't blush.
"Cool," I said, stuffing my face with more ice-cream.
"You really like ice-cream, don't you Becca," Michael said gently, using his thumb to wipe away an ice-cream stain on the corner of my mouth and licking it. My face turned as red as an apple instantly and I tried looking away to hide my blush.
"Aww, look! Becca's blushing!" Calum cooed, earning chuckles from Michael and Luke. We joked around more and laughed at Michael's lame jokes like mad people, earning glares and stares from other people.
"What did the Indian man say when someone asked whether he had prata? He said he had none. (naan)" We cracked up at his lameness. I noticed Ashton was rather quiet and didn't talk much as compared to the other three boys.
On the way back home, we stopped by a candy shop. The boys immediately ran in like little kids.
"CANNNDDDYYY!!" they cheered. I giggled at their childishness. I have a feeling that we'll be best of friends.
