Deep breath.
It's okay.
You're going to be fine.
She tried to make her self feel better, but even she knew that they were lies.
She trusted him. But she wasn't enough. She'd never be enough for anyone. She brushed black stands of hair out of her eyes.
The truth was, she was stupid. She couldn't help but fall for a boy she knew nothing good would come out of.
Some time her life felt like one of those puzzles they put on the backs of kids menus. A connect the dots game. She needed help, like any child would. And who ever came along and helped her, would erase the lines they made. And so she was left to finish the puzzle herself.
She tried to close her eyes, but all she saw was his curly brown hair and green eyes. His perfect smile mocking her.
"Your just a silly girl."
His voice still rang in her ears.
"Did you think that what we had would last forever?"
