"Shut up and go to sleep." He said pushing the hair out of my face. I turned my head the other way, I can't do this. This is too much to deal with. He got off the bed and left the room, leaving the door a jar slightly. Living here is going to be harder than I thought. THE day is going to come soon, the day we fall for each other and I can't deal with that now. I'm just gonna have to ignored him for longer than we both want.
I placed my head on the pillow, straight away my tummy made a horrible sound. I haven't eaten since breakfast. I'm starved. Swinging my legs off the bed I stood on my weak legs. Silently creeping over to the door I sighed. This is going to be hard. I can't just go out there and act like nothing happened, I need to be silent.
I poked my head out of the door and saw all the lights off, the light from the TV was glaring and lighting the room. I put one foot out then the other so my body was in the hall way. I slowly made my way behind the couch. I lifted my head to check if he was awake, I saw his face looking at me, I tired not to shriek and bobbed down again. I waited for him to look over and see me crouched there but he never did so I lifted my head again and I studied his face more. His eyes were closed and I suddenly felt like a complete twat.
I stood up and made my way to the kitchen now with more confidence, knowing he was asleep. I opened the fridge so I could see into it without the light blazing out. Don't try that, because it doesn't work. I quickly took out the most edible looking thing in there, which happened to be a box of chow main that hadn't been touched. I opened all of his draws looking for a fork and finally found one. I turned around to take it to the bedroom and dumped into a wall, since when are walls... Oh poo. I looked up reluctantly and smiled.
"No food in the bedroom." He said with a smirk. I shrugged and carried on walking. He reached over my shoulder and snatched the chow main.
"Hey!" I shout in protest. He shakes his head.
"No food in the bedroom. Either eat out here or not at all." I groaned and snatched it back off him. I turned around and walked to the counter where the stools were. This should be fun. I put the chow main down and put my hands on the side. I put one foot on the foot part of the stool and tried to pull myself up, let's just say. I'm a complete short arse. After a couple more tries, I felt two arms around my waist and lift me onto it. I slapped his hands away once I was up and glared at him. He raised his hands in surrender and stepped back.
I turn and face the counter, ignoring him once again. As I start eating he sits opposite me. I don't look up at him I keep my eyes glued to the very uninteresting container of food, this guy is such a tool. "You can't ignore me forever you know." I looked at him, then back down. "Why are you being so cold all of a sudden?" He asked, he's not gonna give up.
"You, you infuriate me, you know ways of getting under my skin like no-one else can. And I'm scared that you're too nice and sweet and caring and that one day, sooner than we both expect I'm gonna fall in love with you. That's why I'm being 'all cold." I shouted, I hopped off the stall and ran to the bedroom.
I jumped onto the bed and flung the covers over myself, how ironic. The last time I did this I was also scared out of my mind.
*Flashback*
"Get back here you worthless bitch!" Mitch shouted. "You can't hid forever!" I heard his gigantic feet stomping their way into my room.
"Mitch leave the poor girl alone, she hasn't..." A loud slapping sound came from the hall way.
"You're next little Lizzy." More foot steps approached my door, soon it was open. Two arms were quickly around my waist pulling me off my bed.
"NO!!" I scream.
*End of flashback*
"NO!!" I scream. "Don't!" I scream again, tears rolling down my face. His neighbours must love us. I started kicking but he doesn't go.
"Liz, its okay, calm down. Its okay, I'm not going to hurt you." He whispered into my ear. I carried on kicking until he held my feet down and forced me to stop. "Liz, its Grey. Its okay, I'm here, don't worry. I won't hurt you." He said.
"Grey?" I asked faintly, opening my eyes. "Don't let him hurt me." I cried into his shoulder, whilst he stroked my hair.
Suddenly, it all went black and I was calm again.
