INTRODUCTION

So first of all I am writing this Book in English because most of the people understand English and can speak it.

I will teach you a lot of different Stuff from the Language to Manners and also the culture. But first of all we start of with the German alphabet. We have the same Alphabet in Germany as for Example in America or England. The only difference is, that we pronounce it different.

We have the Big and the small Letters. Don't worry it looks more than it is.

So these are the 26 Letters that exist in the German Alphabet. As you can see the same as in England/America. For the Pronunication I recommend the App called "HiNative" You can sign Up and ask Native Speakers how to pronounce the Alphabet. A really import thing for you is to know that we only use the big Letters like "A, B, C..." at the beginning of an Phrase or when we say Nouns. But Attention: There's also an Article before every Noun. In German we have the certain articles and the indefinite articles. The certain Articels are: "der", "die" and "das"

For Example:
In England you would say: The House, The Woman, The Man, The Flowerpot
In German you would say: das Haus, Die Frau, Der Mann, Der Blumentopf.
But what's now the difference between der, die and das? Where you have to use what?
Actually it's really hard to explain this and to remember it.
der - is the male-Form. - The Man - der Mann, The Day - der Tag, The Flowerpot - der Blumentopf
die - is the female-Form. - The Woman - die Frau,
das - is for the other stuff. - The House - das Haus,

ANOTHER EXAMPLES:

Let's say we want to say: "My Father is in the House."
I guess you would say now it is: "Mein Vater ist in das Haus." - BUT THAT'S WRONG. Why?
In Situations like that we exchange the "das" with "dem"
So the correct Phrase would be: "Mein Vater ist in dem Haus."
