Chapter 4

Two months later (Jayden's POV)

    I was sitting in the courtyard with Kole, listening to music, when Wesley came running , Blake only a few steps behind. Right before he could stop and tell me why he was running, he tripped on a rock and fell right in my lap. Kole and I started laughing. "What's so funny?" Wesley asked in an irritated voice. "You should have seen Blake's face when you fell. It looked like he had just seen his whole family murdered in front of him." I said trying to catch my breath. "It wasn't that funny" Blake murmured loud enough for me to hear. "Yes it was and anyway, why were you running?" I asked Wesley while trying to push him off of my lap. "Do you guys want to go to a pride parade with me?" He asked. "YES!!!" Me and Kole yelled at the same time. This was gonna be awesome. "It's next week on Monday and starts from 7 in the morning till 1 at night. It's in New York so we have to go by plane." Wesley said with a huge smile on his face. "That's even better. My and Kole are friends with a girl from New York that we have yet to meet." I say looking at Kole. "Ok so we will all meet in the courtyard at 6:30. I will go book the tickets and a hotel right now. Is that ok with you-" I cut Wesley off. "Would it be ok if we stayed at Heather's house while we are there?" I asked. "Heather is our internet best friend that Jayden was talking about earlier. "I don't mind. What about you Blake?" "It's fine with me." "Ok I'll text and ask if she will be ok with that." I grab my phone and text her. Not even a minute later I get a text back. 'YES YES YES YES YES YES'. "She said it's fine with her." I say. "Ok then I'll just go book the plane tickets. Everyone said their goodbyes and went to their dorms. When Kole and I got to our dorm we started packing.

A week later (still Jayden's POV)

    I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. I bolted out of bed and started getting ready. It was around 5:15. I was so excited. A few minutes after that I heard Kole's alarm go off. She must be as excited as I am. I made sure she got out of bed before I went and took a shower. After my shower I started getting dressed and put some makeup on. I was wearing a pastel blue sweater, black skinny jeans,black converse, many tøp, P!atd, and MCR bracelets, and a black choker with a moon charm in it. I didn't put on too much makeup because I was going to be sleeping most of the plane ride to New York. I was brushing my hair when Kole walked in. "How do I look?" She asked. She had on a thin, light pink sweater, black leggings, and white converse. She looked amazing. "You look great." I say, my face turning red from because of this beautiful human in front of me. "Are you ready to go?" She asked. "Yeah." We started heading towards the courtyard to meet up with everyone. We currently were sharing my earphones, listening to Girls/Girls/Boys by P!atd, and holding hands. When we arrived at the courtyard, Wesley was jumping up and down. He was so excited. "LET'S GO" Wesley yelled while running so fast that we could barely keep up.

An hour later

    We were currently boarding the plane. I was so excited. In just a few hours we will be in New York. Right before I stepped on to the plane, Kole grabbed my hand. She was shaking. I guess she was scared. I held on tight to her hand and told her that she didn't need to be scared, that I was right beside her. She stopped shaking and got on to the plane. About an hour later, after listening to music, Kole fell asleep on my shoulder. My face turned red like a tomato. No, it was even redder than that. I didn't want her to wake up. I didn't want anyone to ruin this moment. I shifted into a comfortable position which somehow turned out to be me laying back and Kole asleep on my chest. I don't even know how we got into this position but I didn't care. After a few minutes I fell asleep.
