I slammed the door to my apartment and gave out a long sigh. My back was pressed against the door and my head tilted back so my eyes were parallel the roof. I don't know how long I stayed like that for but after I noticed that there was no noise coming from inside the small apartment, my breath hitched in worry. Whenever Xander was alone, there was always something going on, even its from the game on his phone or the tv running.

I dropped my laptop case on a chair that was resting against the wall and cautiously walked over to the lounge room. I found a hockey stick in the corner which I grabbed and held tightly while slowly walking around the apartment.

The sound of my shoes clicking was deafening at that moment, but as soon as I laid eyes on Xander passes out on the couch, I almost laughed at how ridiculous I was being.

Looking down at the boy who was drooling onto a badly patterned pillow, I smiled his position and grabbed a blanket to place on top of him. I softly walked to my room and got changed into some leggings and long sleeved sweatshirt, while also brushing my hair out and placing it in a messy bun.

My thoughts drifted to the Boy Wonder as I smiled. I wonder what he's doing now.

I shook my head in disappointment at myself. I'm being ridiculous. I've met the hero once, why must I even think of him. He probably doesn't even remember me.

I laughed at myself and decided to buy some popcorn and drinks for when Xander wakes up so I slipped on some boots and a jacket and quickly checked to see if my brother was still asleep before slipping out of the apartment, in the direction of the deli shop.

After choosing and paying for the few things I wanted, I took notice that the sky already started to darken. I know I shouldn't go through the alleyway. I all but promised the Dynamic Duo I wouldn't go through it anymore but I sure hell was tempted.

I debated with myself for a few minutes before deciding that I would rather take the long road than being attacked again. So I sighed an began walking towards my apartment.

I was just walking through a street in Gotham, being only a few minutes away from my destination when I heard a click. For a moment, panic rushed through me but then I decided I was just being irrational, still shaken from the events last night.

"Stop right where you are." A cold voice stated. So I silently cursed myself for not running when I had the chance because that click? Yeah, that click I heard was a gun. And that gun was now pressed against the back of my head.

"How much money do you have on you?"

"I don't know" I say, my voice steady. I was calling Robin over and over in my head, but even if he didn't show up, I might have to take matters in my own hands.

"Show me." He demanded. At this request, I took out all my money from the pocket in my jacket, but before I could pass it to him, I dropped the money and managed to land a punch on his lower cheek.

"Haha!" I laughed, shaking my hand from the impact.

I was still feeling completely proud of myself before the man stood up with his gun pointing towards me again. I rolled my eyes at the man and frowned until a flash of red and yellow interrupted our party.

The man was kicked to the floor and tied up by a black coloured rope. Even after all that, he was still reaching for the gun before a black boot was placed on his hand. It wasn't squishing it, it was just sitting there; stopping the man from reaching his weapon.

"I don't think so. Police are getting here soon, I suggest you go quietly before I have to pull out my new toy." Robin said smoothly while turning his green shock gun. The mans eyes widened but sat still either way.
