Dust in the wind

Chapter 1

They arrived around 2 in the afternoon then she directly read and went to the dorm address that was written on a small paper her father gave her. A couple of minutes passed, she arrived in the dorm.
An old lady wearing a daster with an eyeglass welcomed her and helped carrying her belongings. The lady brought her to a room that has 2 double deck bed and a small table was set near the window.

"You can choose the bed you want since you are the first person who came."
the landlady said with a smile on her face.

She smiled back and went to the bed she chose then the lady left and because of the tiredness caused by the long travel, She fell asleep.
Few weeks later, Christina was already at ease with the environment. She was already friends with her roommates who are also her classmates, hence, She was slowly enjoying her college life.

"okay class, dismiss!"

Liza, Erlinda, Tessie and Christina hurriedly went outside the classroom. They always go home early so they can catch and listen to their favorite 6pm radio show. They also sent letters almost every week but their letters was never chosen by the dj to read.

"ladies, turn the volume up please. I want to listen too." Miss lady, the landlady, shouted.

"Okay boss!copy!"

"Our first sender for tonight is a third year Engineering College student.

Dear dj Juanita,
There is this girl that I am inlove with.
She has curly black hair.
Her eyes are small but her heart is big.
Her smile melts my heart and her presence alone makes my heart laugh.
sad to say she doesn't know my name but I will do my best to come see her over and over again.
She makes me happy Just by looking at her from a far.
I kept on thinking of her and Someday, I hope I can marry her.
To College of Midwifery's Miss C.
From Engineer Eddie."

Nobody in the room spoke after they heared it. They were caught of guard and puzzled.

"To Engineer Eddie, I am rooting for your love story. There is this one saying that says 'if it's meant to be, it will be'. I hope you will find the courage to introduce yourself to Miss C in person and to Miss C, you are such a lucky girl. Goodluck to both of you. Don't forget that love is a matter of choice, you need to go for it before it's too late." -Dj Juanita

"are you thinking what I am thinking?" Liza asked.

"I think so too." Erlinda replied.

then they all looked at Christina.

"I don't think it's me. There are lots of Miss C in our College." Christina smiled.

then they heared someone running  in the stairs then Miss lady hurriedly went inside their room.

"Christina, is Dj Juanita referring to you?" Miss lady asked while catching her breath.

"SEE??" Liza, Erlinda and Tessie Shouted and tickled Christina.

The next morning, the ladies went to their class together as usual and were teasing Christina.

"hey Miss C, you look good in your Red silky dress" Tessie said and giggled.

" you are really crazy! I'm pretty sure it was not me. My name starts with C but I am not 'that' Miss C! hahaha" Christina laughed.

"what if it's you? what are you going to do? just what if!" Erlinda asked.
