Eyes up Guardian

I remember darkness and then a flash of light and a burning feeling going through my body and I'm greeted with a blue sky, my eyes burned heavily, I move my hand to rub them but my hand is greeted by something, a helmet. I sit up and stretch my bones in my body cracking as I let out a sigh of relief. I look around and see a whole bunch of abandoned cars they look like they haven't been used in centuries, I look around more to be greeted by some strange floating device.
"Hello guardian how are you feeling?" It's eye glows and its parts move as it speaks.
"Stuff I guess" I say rubbing my neck, what are you? Where am I?" I demand to the floating device.
"I'm a ghost, your ghost, and to where we are we are by the entrance to the cosmodrome of Russia!" It gets closer to me and a light comes out and it goes up and down me, what is a ghost? And why is it mine? I can't even remember anything up until now...
"What are you doing?" I say as I jump away from it, "what's with the light show?"
The ghost looks at me and says
"I'm scanning for any injuries that aren't healed, you said you felt stiff so I'm checking to see if you're okay." I stand there for a moment and think, why am I here right now?
" why does everything look like the gardener took a vacation?" I say as I point to the cars.
" Well...you've been dead here for a long while, I don't know how long but I've been looking for you for so long and now you'r-" he gets cut as we hear a roar from something in the distance and it sends a familiar chill down my spine. "It's not safe here!!! We need to arm you and get you out of here!" He frantically looks around and looks back at me. "Hold still" he moves towards me then disappears, I look around trying to understand where it went when I hear it's voice. "It's ok I'm here, let's get going! I sigh and look around.
"Where am I going?" I say as I hit the side of my helmet.
"We're looking for a ship to get us to the city! Now could we please move to? There's a door over there that leads into to cosmodrome!" He sounds irritated so I guess I'm stuck with him, I charge into the building and force the metal door open and close it behind me. I go up a few hallways and stairs and reach a dark room I can barely see anything, that ghost appears before me and a beam of light comes out of his eye, guess besides being a annoying machine he has a few extra uses. I look around and spot a gate with what looks like a rifle laying up against a box, I try the door controls but nothing happens the power's out."stay here I'll go turn the power back on!" He starts to float away but I quickly snatch him out of the air and whisper,
"I can just open this by hand we have no idea what's lurking in here! Lighting this place up would be like kicking a hornets nest!" Ghost goes quiet as I let go of him. I grab the door and begin to lift with all my strength, I'm able to lift it over myself and get through I carefully lower it down so it wouldn't slam down. Ghost is looking and scanning the rifle. I crouch down and pick it up, on the box there's a few dozen clips of ammo for the gun, I slam one in and ready it. I walk carefully through the hallway bypassing trip mines until I reach a big room with a huge hole in the wall, I spot a door to my right and begin to make my way to the door when something nearly takes my head off, a blue beam flys right in front of me and hits the wall next to me. I look where it came from to see something that seems so familiar, it's a strange 4 armed creature with some sort of gun in its hands. It readies another shot but before that I fire a few shots into its head it feels almost familiar, some sort of weird gas comes hissing out and I hear movement coming from the hole. I sprint for the door and run through a pipeline to the outside, I don't stop until I'm a good distance away from the area. A huge machine sits battered and abandoned I take shelter under its legs and try to catch my breath.
"That was the fallen, they're alien scavenger, I suggest you kill them before they kill you." Ghost sounds kinda irritated.
"Look I'm just trying to get my bearings here I don't know what the hell is going on or what the hell happened here I want answers!!!" I clench my fist hard and I'm surprised to see electricity spark from my first. "What the?" I relax my hand and it fades.
"You're a guardian, a weirder of the light and protector of humanity. I filled your body with light to bring you back and now you can wield your light in so many shapes and forms!" Titans like you have a fist of havoc and a ward of dawn. The fist covers you in arc energy as you slam your fists and or yourself into anyone, the ward acts differently you create a bubble of void energy that cannot be penetrated. Once we get to the tower we can have Zavala show you how to use your powers!" He produces a holographic map and shows me my position and a building with a ping on it.
" I have so many questions!! Like who's Zav-"
"No time! We need to get you to the city! Everything will be answered there so please trust me and let's get moving!" He seems kinda scared I suppose I'll go to this city tower thing. I get up and look at the map again and begin my long jog there.
Some time passes as I sneak past the fallen.
I reach the building that was pinged to find a giant ship.
"How'd you know this was in here?" I look at ghost questionably.
"I picked up the ships reactor energy and just took a wild guess hopping it was a ship!" He says as he scans the ship, Jesus it seems like all he does is scan and float.
"This thing gonna fly? Or are we just gonna blow up?" I cross my arms annoyed.
"It'll fly, I just need to fiddle with a few things. Try and protect this area so I can get this ship functioning!" As he says that almost on cue I hear a roar and I turn abs ready my gun, a bunch of the fallen come running in some with only 2 arms but the rest with 4. I start firing, picking up their weapons off the ground to use once I run out. When suddenly I'm slashed on my back, a bigger one was invisible and snuck behind me. It grabs my throats and slams me against the wall and says something in another language I cannot understand. It pulls back one of its blades slowly almost savoring this. I'm going to die again, I can't die yet, but I can't get free! A burning feeling builds up in me, I punch it in his ugly mug but it doesn't faze it at all, maybe I can channel that fist of havoc, I squeeze my fist hard, but nothing happens the fallen stabs me, I let out a scream and it pulls it out slowly and goes to do it again I try again but still nothing and this burning feeling is getting more intense! The fallen stabs me deeper and I hear it laugh and slowly pull it out, my visions getting fuzzy I try one more time when I hear a noise like metal hitting metal hard, and that burning feeling is in my hand instead, I swing my fist at him now and I hit him and it goes flying. I fall to the ground and cough, I see something strange, I'm holding a hammer? This hammer has a bird head on it back end and it's covered in fire. I stand holding it in my hand as I look up at the fallen that had surrounded me, they seem scared. I don't know why but I feel like throwing this hammer at them, I do so and the hammer flys and explodes on contact and another one comes to my hand. I chuckle as I throw these hammers burning and killing these fallen, they start to run. The moment the last ones gone I slump down and try to stay away when I hear a familiar voice.
"God are you okay!! Guardian speak to me!"
Ghost says as I start to glow and my hammer fades I start to feel better and my visions back. "I'm glad you're okay!" I hear a sadder pitch in his voice, "I almost lost you." I chuckle a bit.
"You brought me back once right? If I die you can bring me back!" I get up slowly.
"It isn't that simple! I can't always bring you back some areas are to dark for the light to bring you back!" He sounds like he's in a bit of a tissy.
"It's pretty well lit in here." I say jokingly. "What dark are you talking about?"
Ghost shakes in a no movement, "some areas have been tainted by dark energy so I cannot use my light to bring you back, there's many like these around the system so we have to extra careful!" I'm almost taken back by this information.
"WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS", I shout. "I could've died for good!"
The little ghost signed heavy and motioned me towards the ship.
"Let's get out of here please? I rather not have any more four armed space scavenger attacking us." The ghost moved towards the ship and in a blink of an eye I was in the cockpit of the ship and the ghost was next to me. "I'll fly us there I know where to go." The ship started moving as he says that and I get confused.
"Where are we going again? A city?" I say as I poke the ghost annoyingly. He doesn't respond, he seems focused on flying then responding. I lean back in my chair and let the ghost fly us to where ever the hell he wants to take us. I raise my hand and stair at it, where did that hammer come from and why did I understand how to use it? I fade off tired and beaten from my journey to a whole new adventure on a dead world.
