Chapter 3

Hi guys LunaStaris here saying sorry for not updating The White Shadow of Who I was I've working on this book on my own and I don't have the time to do multiple books anymore much more now that our Second semester just started. So sorry but I'll make up for it by updating this book instead. So here's chapter 3.

Azure PoV (7 years ago)

"Scarlet stay close," I said as Scarlet ran around a field of flowers.

Me, Axel, and Scarlet were on our way home from a basic job when they decided to take the scenic, much longer route instead of our usual fast and short route home. It was almost night and we needed to get home quick these wood were dangerous at night. I know 3 wizards afraid of monsters but I was barely able to keep myself alive then much less three of us, Scarlet could barely control her magic, and Axel, let's just say that he was sick.

"Let's start up camp here," I said sitting down on a rock.

"You sure Azure? If we hurry we could be home in half an hour," said Axel wrapping his coat and pancho around him while sniffling.

"I'm sure, plus you and Scarlet look tired," I replied. "You aren't too sick to start a fire, are you?"

"Sure I can make a fire, but what are you gonna do?"

"I'll be gathering something to eat. Since I didn't know we were camping out," I said putting down my bag. "Scarlet," I said.

"Yes, big bro?" She said looking up at me.

"Stay near the camp, and if anything bad happens, run and don't look back," I instructed as I left them for the near river.

After a while of gathering fruit and fish I was about to head back to the camp, when I heard a scream followed by a volts of electricity coming from the camp. I quickly ran there, food forgotten. When I got there a big burnt bull like monster was right in front of me with no Scarlet or Axel in sight, but there was someone. I saw a big man with blonde hair and a fur coat hanging of his shoulders.

"Sea Dragon's ROOOOAAAR," I shouted without thinking as a strong blast of water escaped my mouth knocking the man back.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" He said said looking at me. "Why you little..." he said but was cut off by a thrown rock and a voice.

"Stay away from my brother you creepy, scary old man," the voice of Scarlet resounded.

I looked at him and saw pure shock and distain on his face. I don't know if what Scarlet described him got to him, was it because she called him creepy and scary or was it because she called him old.

"I'm only 24 kid!" He said. Definitely the later one.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" I asked with water engulfed first.

"The name's Laxus Drayer," he said with pride.

"Wait your the Laxus Drayer, as in the strong wizard from Fairy Tail, Laxus Drayer?" I said loosing my guard.

"Correction "was" a strong wizard from Fairy Tail," he corrected.

"Was? What do you mean was?" I said confused.
