ANA'S POV

I sat in my office with Max. We were both stunned. "Why the hell does she care about AJ?" I asked Max. He shrugged his shoulders and smiled genuinely. I decided to go on a quest to find my answers. I first needed to eat something before I could do anything. Walking to the cafeteria, I sat in my seat. It smelled, like something that wasn't me. The server walked over to me. "Have you been sitting in my chair?" I asked him. "No Ms. Anabelle"he said. "Well who was in it? You're here everyday, I'm pretty sure you're nosey as hell, so whose been sitting." I asked irritably. "I believe her name is Alexandra who sits with HVIC AJ in the morning"he said shaking. I jumped from my seat in disgust. "So are they dating? Or does she just let a random person seat in my seat, putting all her germs in my seat?" I ask. "I'm sure Anabelle. I think they've become very cloae friends. I believe Alexandra portrays stronger emotion though"he said truthfully. "What do you mean?" Anabelle asked, intrigued. "Well when AJ wasn't feeling well I was carrying her breakfast to her. But then that's when Alex yelled at me and her eyes turned red. Then all of a sudden AJ looked at her and she stopped yelling. She looked at AJ like she was in love with her"he said. I sighed, and looked at him. Pulling out 400$ I gave it to him. I needed a counselor. "Be my counselor, help me. But the money is for you to keep everything a secret." I said to him. "Umm okay Ana this'll be our little secret"he said with a smile at the end. "So, You know who Max is right? I was...I mean...am dating him. So Alex...decided to come and talk to us. She's like..why are you lying to your daughter...calls me a bitch and all!" I say slamming my table. "Then...the whole time she's dating AJ..the bitch is being hypocrital. AJ didn't tell her dad she's dating Alex, so why should we tell on ourselves? Can you tell me how that makes sense?" I say irritably. The server was nodding his head at what i was saying. He said "Seems to me that both of you have problems telling the other whats happening in your life. If she is a true friend she will eventually tell you about Alex if she is dating her because I never said that they were dating. Your just making assumptions Ana. But you on the other hand should tell AJ that your dating her father. She'll come around soon if she is really your friend."he said. I sighed. "Thanks. I need no more help." I sigh. The server nodded and said "Anytime" and he walked away. I walked away. Enough of this romance stuff. I needed to get business done. I walked into my office to pay the mortgage of the coven.

I called the company that we bought the coven from. It was robot automated. "Hello, I'd like to make a mortgage payment of 865,000." I said into the phone. "We're sorry." The robot began. "That is not the correct amount. We need a payment of 999,000." It says. "What the hell?!?!" I screamed. "Command not understood." The robot says. I hang up the phone. I got more business with AJ too, why hasn't she been coming to training, I say to myself. I walk to AJ's office, and knock on the door lightly. "Hello?!" I say with a smile plastered to my face. AJ doesn't come to the door immediately. She finally opens the door "Hey Ana whats up?" AJ said. "Hey friend!" I smile. "I have a mini bone to pick with you." I smile.

"Um okay come in"she said gesturing me to come in. I looked around her office for any suspicious items, I smelled, it smelled like strawberries and pineapples. " y'know you've been missing from a lot of practices, your dads been there more than you, and I'm pretty sure he's retired." I say. "Yeah he is but he still likes helping out. Also I've been busy with work and monitoring the cameras"AJ said. "Soo, every hour of the day you're monitoring cameras?" I snap. "No not exactly every hour of the damn day but I'm doing my job to keep this coven up and running"she said ignoring my attitude. "And...teaching the fellow vampires keeps the coven running..." I mutter, already we were frustrating each other. "Yeah I know. Is that all you came here to tell because you can leave. I don't need you to tell me how to do my job Anabelle." She said becoming angry. AJ had a short temper and I could already see her eyes were getting a red ring around her eyes.
