(Y/N) POV

You run out of the class, paying heed to Jungkook's warning. You're supposed to be headed to the office for a late slip. You arrive there and ask the office attendant for a late slip and she hands you one. Once you reach the gym, you hand the slip to the teacher and she has you sit on the bleachers.

And that's when the flood of thoughts hit you.

You widen your eyes and immediately slap your hand over your mouth

Oh shit. What the heck did you just do?!

You kissed Jungkook?! Oh no. If Minhyun finds out, she's gonna go all out over him. You know well to never underestimate her. She's way tougher than she looks.
And did you seriously say that you loved Jungkook back? Like, what the actual heck?

But did he seriously mean that he loved you? Or was he just pitying you?
But why did you say that you loved him back? Did you seriously mean it? Yes? No? Or were you just pitying him for his sudden change in popularity?

If you had been able to speak, a train of cuss words would have been emerging from your mouth, but fortunately for the ears of your classmates and teacher and in favour of your dignity, you were mute so you didn't really have a way to voice your thoughts (I know that was stupid).
You run you fingers through you hair. Well, now what? Are you gonna go and be, what, his girlfriend now? Or are you just going to avoid him because of how miserably embarrassed you feel.

I love you too, Jungkook, I always have.

WTF?!

You fist your hands in your hair. Why do you have to be so freaking cringey?! Ugh. The bell rings, signalling the end of gym class. It saves you from yanking your hair out of frustration.

But then you realise that the next class is Science, and you share this with Jisoo and Rose. You slowly walk to the class and take your seat. Rose and Jisoo arrive after you take your seat and turn to you. You bite your lip, wondering what to do.
"I think our Jisoo likes someone, you know?" Rose says, wiggling her eyebrows. You raise up and eyebrow, thinking about the cafe and Namjoon. Jisoo sighs in annoyance and rolls her eyes. "If you really must know, it's Kim Seo Hyuk, you know, from our history class,' Jisoo finally says in defeat.
You make ASL signs asking What? I thought you liked Namjoon? At least your friends knew ASL. Jisoo shakes her head and says, "Nah, he isn't really my type." You nod your head. The teacher enters and starts taking class. The adrenaline rush you had from the earlier shock of kissing Jungkook leaves you and you start to feel drowsy. You feel your eyelids getting heavier, but they shoot open when the teacher throws chalk just past you, to hit the boy sitting behind you, who's fast asleep on his desk.

Phew. That was close.

The entire class turns around to seen him lazily rising, and stretches.
His blonde hair is parted slightly to the side. His monolidded eyes slowly open to a bare extent, and you wonder whether he's awake or half asleep.
"Min yoongi, sleeping in class again?" the teacher asks. "Umm" is all the boy, Yoongi can muster before the teacher barks out "Detention!" and then continues with the lesson.

*Time skip cuz I'm lazy*

The bell rings and you rush out. It's lunch time. You head to your usual table and take out your laches lunch. Minhyun, Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo and Rose arrive and take their seats around you, with Minhyun and Jennie by your sides and Lisa, rose and Jisoo in front of you. Minhyun wraps her arm around you and whispers, "What was that in the classroom, hm?"

You freeze.

Oh crap.

Then was that Minhyun who walked out side the classroom while you and Jungkook were kissing?
You gulp. This isn't going to end well. When Minhyun's mad, she gets real mad. You snarf down you lunch in panic while Black pink just stare at you in confusion. You give Minhyun a glace and dart out if the cafeteria and into the hallway.
Minhyun arrives outside shortly and crosses her arms over her chest. "Now, what were you and Jungkook doing alone inside the classroom?" she asks sternly. You gulp again and breath heavily. Should you tell her? What will she say? She's probably going to kill you if you tell her that you kissed. But shouldn't you be honest? But does honesty seriously come first before your life? Should you play it safe? Okay, (Y/N), you can do this. Just tell Minhyun the truth. She's your best friend. She deserves to know the truth.

You make a sign with your hands saying We kissed.
Minhyun blinks, processing what she's just heard. Her face goes slack and softly says, "You did what?" You make the sign again while looking at the floor. Minhyun takes a step towards you and await the slap that's definately on its way to your cheek. Or at least some sort of beat.

But instead, you're in an embrace.

How puzzling.

You just stand still while Minhyun holds you to her. She then lets you go and says, "Look, I know you had a thing for him, and what's happened right now is almost like it's straight out of a drama, you know? You and your enemy are in love," she says while the corner of her mouth tugs upwards in a slight smile. "If he ever mistreats you, he's got me to deal with." She ends off with a smile. You start making signs. But it was so confusing. I don't know how or why I did it. It just....happened. I thought I hated him. I don't know what he feels about me, but I think I'll just wait and see, you end off with a shrug. Minhyun nods in agreement.

The bell rings. The two of you go to your next class and watch from your seats as the class fills up with students.

Then Jungkook enters.

You feel your cheeks flush and immediately look down. You're still sensitive over the kiss, and you don't really know how he feels about it so you keep your head down until he passes by.

You let out a small sigh of relief now that he passed you without Tring to acknowledge you. But seriously, what did he think if the kiss? He was anyways the one who had initiated it, so maybe has feelings.
But knowing Jeon Jungkook the feelings are probably gone. You sigh and watch the teacher enter and starts taking class.

Jungkook's POV

After she left the classroom, I left it as well and was about to go the office to get a late slip along with her when whatever happened in that last 10 minutes finally hit me. My eyes grew wide as I ran int he opposite direction of the office. I reached a small bench in the school courtyard and sat down.

I let out a big breath an recalled my actions. What the hell Jungkook?! You kissed her? And said that you loved her? What the actual fu-
"Gah!" is what comes out if my mouth as I recall each and every scene. I close my eyes and pinch myself, praying that it's all a dream. But I open my eyes and I'm still in the courtyard.
I don't feel like going to gym class so I decide to stay here.

But did I really mean it when I said that I loved her? Or did I only pity her? Did I?

Argh, Jungkook! Get your mind in order! Let's say you love her, so now what?

Oh no no I don't love her! Do I?

I don't know man!

"Ugh!" I cry out and fist my hands in my hair and knock my fist on my forehead. I hear the bell ringing, signalling the next class. I know it's a free period so I take a short nap on the bench

*Time skip*

I'm awoken by as ringing sound. It signals lunch. I just stuff my packed sandwich in my mouth and keep thinking about that scene. I pack up my bag and walk back inside the school. The bell rings, so I head towards my next class.

When I enter I immediately notice (Y/N). I almost give a small smile towards her but then I notice her expression.
She's looking down and her cheeks are slightly pink. Is she embarrassed? I don't know whether that's cute or a good sign. But then I see her eyes flick towards me for a second before looking back down again. Shie doesn't acknowledge my presence, as usual.

But she must be feeling uncomfortable or something this time. So I don't acknowledge her presence either and sit behind her in my seat. Sheesh, one small move made by me and the atmosphere has gone from awkward to super duper awkward. But then a question hits me.

Does she like me back after I kissed her? Or will she try and avoid me like how we are doing so now?
