At last the time had come. I opened the box slowly. The sensors watching. Inside. A human hand.
"time for tea" i heard. I took of my vr headset and ran downstairs.
"i got you a present" my dad said reluctantly as if he didn't want me to have it. Street rage vr. I ate my tea as fast as i could. I raced upstairs and put in the code. 23 hours left.  The screen said as the loading screen showed. I went to school the next day.

2 minutes left. The bar was almost full. Saturday tomorrow. All day to play. I fell asleep .

I woke. Put on my headset and i was in a big city. Buildings all chrome. A gun in my hands. A message popped up. There are no rules. As i finished reading it disappeared. I grinned. I pointed the gun at a man. He cowered. The animation was as realistic as if i was still there. I pulled the trigger. The once chrome building. Now partly red. I walked around. A hospital. An airport. Killing people wherever i went. I did this for many hours.

"teas ready". I ran downstairs. Ate in 20 seconds flat. I ran back up and put on the headset.

"breakfast" i heard. I ran downstairs. Tired. I picked up the fork and knife. Bacon and eggs. Before i could start eating a familiar message popped up.
There are no rules. I grinned. I was still in vr. I drove the fork at dad. The knife in mums throat. I picked up the rest of the cutlery and killed again. The police intervened. I knew i had lost. I reached for the headset. Nothing. I stood. In a pool of blood. I had lost the game.
