I slowly pulled out my phone as I debated with myself weather or not I was going to show him the pic. "Do you promise to tell the truth?" I questioned as I clenched my phone tightly to my chest. "Of course Alex now tell me what's been wrong!" he exclaimed. I sighed and handed him my phone while I watched his every move. "How'd you get this?" he asked rubbing his temple. "So who is she?" I asked ignoring his question. "Alex she's just a friend." he huffed handing me back my phone. "Friends don't sit that close." I pointed out as I threw my phone onto his bed. "whatever you say Alexandria." I rolled my eyes and began pacing back and forth. "So can I meet this friend?" I asked putting quotations around friend with my hands. "No you can't because I don't know where she's been for the past three years." I rolled my eyes and stopped pacing. "Are you telling the truth?" I bugged sensing he wasn't. "Why would I even lie to you?" he shot back the annoyance clear in his voice. "Look Joey I'm sorry it's just I get so insecure." I apologized. "Its fine Alex I shouldn't have been so rude." I smiled and hugged him taking in his amazing mint scent.Maybe this was just stupid after all.

We stood like this in each other's for what seemed like forever but I just couldn't stop thinking at the big lie I just told her. "I love you." she whispered causing me to sigh. "I love you too." but that was a lie as well. Will my lying game stop?
