"Alexis," a big booming voice calls from around the corner. The petite, yet cute girl walks towards the voice.
"Yes, Father?" She questions the Man standing by a high table. She knows things aren't good when He holds his head in his hands. He takes a deep breath and turns around.
"My beautiful daughter. Thou shall listen to me. I've watched you grow to be a bright, smart, and caring angel..." He looks to her and grabs her face then places a kiss upon her forehead. "You, my sweet girl, are perfect for the job." He turns back around and floats to the top of the table again. *maybe this won't be so bad after all* she thinks.
"Of course not my sweet girl." God answers and smiles at her. Her faces turns red and she smiles. Forgot he can do that.
"Father," she begins. She hesitated to ask but continues anyways. "Father, what is it? The job you want me to do?" She walks over and opens her wings to fly to where His table sits. "I don't want to be rude Father, but I would love to know." She chuckles quietly, feeling quite nervous for the job she is about to gain. Her first job as an angel, she thinks. Quite amazing. Then she looks up to see Him grinning at her.
"Franklin Shields. The 17 year old lad. His time has come. He's very quiet, timid you could say." She looks to Him confused.
"Father why has his time come then?" She dare question the almighty one. She looks down on the table. There she sees him. Franklin. He's at school sitting alone. Just then a kid comes by and pushes him off his chair. He gets up fist in the air, but sits down. Her eye brows furrow, *hmm strange he didn't fight*
"Alexis this boy is the most firm believer in me && my son Jesus. He is struggling and I need you to help him." Then it dawns on her....*IM GOING UNDER COVER!! BACK TO EARTH!*
"Oh Father," She leaps into his arms for a embrace so warm and loving she can do nothing but tear up. "This is the most noble of things I could have asked for! Thank you Father thank you!" She kisses his cheek and flies back down to the floor.
"Alexis, there is quite some responsibility when it comes to this job. No one, and I mean no one can know you are an angel. You are going undercover as a high school student, just as Frank is. You're mission is to stop Franklin from doing sinful things. Help him realize I do not want him to do things like that." He looks to her, hope in His eyes. "You can do this my daughter. I believe in you." He turns back to his table and moves on to a new task.|Later that day|
*Alexis P.O.V.*
"I'm going under cover!" I tell my best friend,Destiny, at the Angel school for underaged children. "God himself choose me!" Destiny looks at her amazed beyond belief.
"What? How? When? Where? Oh M goodness!!! How'd this happen Lex? What do you mean He choose you???? By name?" Her overly excited voice got higher and higher. I just laughed.
"Des this is how it went...He called my name, then told me what my mission was! That's about it! He also told me there was a ton of responsibilities with it. I know that. He knows I know that," she pauses for a second. Then looks to her friend and smiles. "The boy, Franklin, is very cute." Destiny's eyes get huge and she looks to her friend.
"Don't let that distract you sweetie. You can't." Her eyes narrow on me. She's serious. Destiny is only 5'2", but man she is beautiful. Long brown hair with these gorgeous light brown eyes. Her petite body is perfect next to her huge white wings. She's very wise. Wise beyond her years, I look at my friend and nod my head.
"I know. I know. You should have seen him though, but I know my mission. He's bullied a lot at his school and I'm to go be his rescuer. Help him through his days. Spread the word of God and Jesus. I'm ready." She looks to her friend and she squeals happily. Des grabs her in a tight hug and kisses her cheek.
"I knew you had it in you baby." Destiny whispers in my ear. I smile and hug her back harder.
