My Baby~Verkwan

~Chapter Six~

Seungkwan never got his presents. To say he was upset was a complete understatement. That was the only reason he happily went to Vernons mom's place.

Why didn't Seungkwan get his presents? Well Vernon and his dad just screamed at each other and Seungkwan had a panic attack in the hallway as things were thrown in the kitchen.

Now Seungkwan was being completely silent in the car while Vernon drove. They were minutes away from home and Seungkwan was ready to go curl up in his bed.

Once the car came to a stop in their driveway, Seungkwan jumped out and ran inside. He went straight up to his room.

Vernon sighed quietly and grabbed their bags before heading inside. He slid his shoes off before walking upstairs.

The two boys curled up in their own beds crying quietly to themselves. Both of them upset about what happened at Vernons house.

Downstairs, Jeonghan and Seungcheol were sitting in the kitchen talking about rules and how they're going to set stuff up for Izzie when she arrives in a few hours.

"She will be pretty tired when she gets here so she won't car how her room looks but tomorrow we should go out and buy stuff and decorate her room" Jeonghan said quietly, turning his head to look at Seungcheol.

"That sound good. I can see if Vernon will watch Dino for a bit that way we don't have him yelling that he wants everything."

Jeonghan nodded a bit "She is really into My Little Pony and plays soccer. Her favourite colour is purple since that's the colour of her jersey. So purple walls?"

Seungcheol hummed "yeah,it will be easier to plan out once we see everything we can get "

Jeonghan took a sip of his coffee "I don't know how I'll be able to keep up on my school work and take care of two children "

"Jeonghan, one child is coming here"

"But Dino always acts like one "

Seungcheol let out a small laugh, standing up to get more coffee.

The two sat in silence for a few minutes before Vernon stepped into the kitchen, tears falling down his face. Vernon barely cried in front of others so this was a rare sight.

Seungcheol, who was the first to see Vernon, was immediately on his feet. He walked over to Vernon and pulled him into a much needed hug. No words were said, they just stood in each other's arms. The only sound that could really be heard was Vernons muffled sobs.

They stayed that way for a few minutes before Seungcheol pulled away the tiniest bit.

"Vernon what's wrong?"

At that moment Vernon had a decision to make. Get everything off his chest and feel better or keep it in and feel worse. He knew the right choice would be to tell them but he was scared to. He didn't want them to think differently of him. Vernon could feel them both staring at him waiting for an answer.

Vernon took a step back and wiped his eyes with his sleeve

"I guess I should start with the fact that I caused Seungkwan to have a panic attack alone in the hallway. I've always had problems with my father and my mom didn't tell me he'd be home to have supper with us. Me and him ended up fighting. We were just yelling until he started throwing stuff at the floor and me and Seungkwan left. I didn't mean to scare him like I did. He didn't talk to me the entire way back. What if he's terrified of me?"

Jeonghan stood up and stepped in front of Vernon. Seungcheol quietly stepped back knowing Jeonghan was better at these things.

"Okay Vernon, Seungkwans in love with you. Yes he may be scared right now but he can't live without you. Take him breakfast tomorrow and apologize. I can assure you everything will be fine "

Vernon took a deep breath and nodded

Jeonghan ran his fingers through Vernons hair "You look tired you should go rest. Don't sleep just yet because you'll be up really early "

Vernon nodded again pulling himself away from Jeonghan. He wiped his eyes and turned to head out of the kitchen.

After Vernon left, Jeonghan turned to Seungcheol frowning.

"I hate seeing him cry. It hurts my heart"

"I know, just focus on Izzie who will be here soon "

Jeonghan nodded a bit "you should go check on Dino before he caused trouble for your attention. "

Seungcheol kissed Jeonghans head before walking out of the kitchen.

Jeonghan sat down, a small frown on his face. Everyone around him seemed to be hurting which made him feel like he shouldn't express his emotions. He didn't like pushing his feelings onto others if they're already hurting.

After about an hour, there was a knock on the door. Jeonghan stood up and made his way to the door pulling it open.

"Oppa! Oppa!" Izzie cheered throwing her arms up ready to be picked up.

Jeonghan laughed quietly and picked her up. Izzie squealed loudly.

"Oppa! Oppa! Oppa!" she cheered loudly.

"hi Izzie " Jeonghan stepped out of the way for his grandmother to come in.

" I'm sorry Jeonghan she had a lot of sugar today "

"it's fine. She can play with Dino for a bit then she'll be all worn out " Jeonghan smiled "You can leave her stuff there. I'll take it upstairs later on. Go sit on the couch, I'll make you some tea after I take her upstairs "

Jeonghans grandmother nodded and put down the two suitcases.

Jeonghan took Izzie upstairs and got Seungcheol to watch her.

When he went downstairs him and his grandmother talked for a few minutes before she was on her way back.

Jeonghan leaned back covering his face. It was going to be a big change to have Izzie living with them. They'd have to make some changes and he didn't know if everyone was ready for that.
