Chapter 3; La Llorona (The Weeping Women)

   A long time ago there was a beautiful women named Maria. She caught the eye of a nobleman passing by. He knew he had to have her. She was easily charmed by him, and immediately accepted his proposal. Her family was thrilled to have their daughter Mary such a wealthy man. Her husband's father didn't approve so they built a house where he couldn't reach them. They soon had two healthy sons. Whenever the husband came back from his journeys, he would bring presents for his whole family. But after a while he only brought presents for his sons. It got to the point where he started ignoring Maria completely and only payed attention to his two sons. Soon after he came back from one of his journeys with another beautiful more wealthy women. Out of rage and anger, Maria grabbed hold of her two sons and threw them into the lake. By the time she regained her humanity, it was to late to save her sons. She then threw herself into the river, hoping she would be reunited with her sons in heaven. But God didn't think so and had other plans for her. There was no way that were possible, for we had been convicted with the ultimate sins; MURDER and SUICIDE. Now Maria is forced to roam the Earth for her two sons. If you are alone at night she will walk up to you and probably kill you. Children have to be especially careful. She'll come up behind you and tap you very lightly on your shoulder. If you turn around and she sees you are not her sons, It's certain death for you.
