A very very long time ago there was a kingdom they lost a war to a powerful empire. As part of the agreement the Khmer princess Tarawatee was to marry a rich nobleman. But like other stories she was in love with another man who fought in the war. One night the nobleman caught the two having an affair, so he sentenced the princess to death by burning. For fear for her life, she went to a sorceress and asked for magic so she wouldn't die. She gave her a potion that would prevent harm from coming to her body. She drank the potion just before they put her on the stake. She was soo confident that this would work, she didn't even struggle to get free. But the potion needed more time to take full effect. She screamed as the flame swallowed her whole body. All that was left was her head and her intestines. From that day on she was doomed to room the Earth as the Krasue.
She roams the Earth eating RAW flesh. She feeds on livestock like cows, pigs and chickens, but her favorite meal is a baby still in it's mother's womb. There is a way to protect yourself from her though. You can put up thorny vines or spikes around your fence and house. She would be too scared to enter, worried she might get stuck. But she'll find another way.............She always does.
