After two more classes I could finally leave this Hell hole and go back home. I had to wait for my mom to pick me up because even though I had my license we had only one car, and she had work. So I sat on the curb by myself until Calum sat down beside me.

"Hi." he said quietly.

"Hey."

"Okay this is gonna sound kinda weird since we just met today and stuff but um could I come over to your house?" I didn't know what to say, no ones been to my house since like 8th grade when my mom forced me to have a sleepover.

"Uh yeah I guess, why?"

"I just- I'm kinda lost in all of my classes and you seem to understand it all, plus you're like the only person I've met and genuinely liked today."

It was then that I realized, I really liked him too. I didn't feel like he judged my every move, I was...comfortable. A little while later my mom pulled up and I offered him a ride, which he took considering he didn't drive his car to school and didn't know where my house was.

After a long car ride of my mom drilling Calum with question from "Why did you move?" to "Do you have a girlfriend?" I just slid lower into my seat with each question. She didn't ask anything too extreme though, probably in fear of scaring off my only friend in 3 years. Eventually we reached my house where I jumped out of the car as fast as possible only for my mom to stop me to say she had to go run errand and would be back in a few hours.

I sighed in relief as she drove away, knowing we'd have the house to ourselves. It's not like we'd do anything, I was just glad Calum would get to know me, not my mom stories of me, just me.

We studied for about an hour until Calum was pretty much up to speed and we were both bored out of our minds. He then suggested we should watch a movie. So I was making popcorn in the kitchen when I heard Calum yell something.

"What is it?" I asked walking into the living room.

"You have the Avengers!"

"Yeah, it's my favorite."

"Really?"

"I'm literally wearing a Marvel shirt what do you think."

"Do you wanna watch it?" He asked hopefully. I nodded happily told him I'd be right back. I ran up into my room and changed into some sweatpants because I was going to be sitting on my couch for two hours and jeans get uncomfortable.

Then I went back downstairs sliding on my doctor who socks into the kitchen to get the popcorn and ran back to the living room.

I'm watching a movie with a boy. Wait, does this count as a date?

I'm so sorry this is rly boring I just needed to update and wattpad has deleted what I've written 3 times so it's completely different than what I originally imagined

Im rly sad at the moment bc we had to put my dog down this morning so I basically wrote this rly happy to distract myself
