Chapter 2

"You had-insomnia again did you??" Corinne asked me as I tried to park the car. When I got the correct position, I switched off the engine and turned to face her. She's looking at me with her serious face. I breathe out heavily for a second.

"I can't....help it okay?? It's just that...there's so much things that I've been thinking lately and....really I-I---" Corinne cut me off before I could continue my sentence.

"Hey!! Chill. Have a life. Don't worry, no matter what you do, your parents will be so proud of you as always. Just don't pressure yourself. Enjoy...your life while you can, yan. Enjoy High Schoool 'cause we're going to be in college next year. No more fun......okay?" she hold back her voice before she said 'okay'

She rubbed my shoulder and gave me a smile. I weakly smiled back and muttered 'okay' to her. Corinne's always been in my side like forever, supporting me, giving me some advices. If it weren't for her, I would've been hardly pressuring myself. See, I work hard so much to maintain my grades and still be on top. I want to make my parents proud and I promised to them that I'll be a strong, independent daughter and I will never....ever break that promise.

"Okay let's get out before class starts. You don't want to be yelled by that short, bald English literature professor of yours do you?" she teased pausing in the literature part.

"Indeed" I laugh at her opinion about the English professor. "Let's go!!"

We got off my black Lamborghini Murcielago and people began to greet me, say their hi's and even some of the boys flirted. All I could think is eww, could this boys have something to do with their lives other than flirting with girls and inviting them to have sex? I mean, this is utterly ridiculous!!

"Heyyy there sexy! Do you want to learn something after class??" a random muscular ass guy sling his arm on my shoulder before I could notice it, making me jerked away with extreme disgust. I know that Corinne is not going to let this away, and she's really good at it but I stopped her before she could something to this douche bag.

"You----need to learn that by yourself or else I'm going to break every bones of your body before you could learn something after school. Do you understand??!" I fired him with my words. He whistled and so as his jerk followers that was standing behind him.

"We've got some feisty chick in here!" he started to come forward. I clenched my jaw and grinded it as hard as I could and was amazed that it didn't turn into powder.

*KKKKRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!*

Saved by the bell. He stared at me for a while and gave me an evil smirk.

"See you later sexy" he winked at me and to Corinne and walked away. I can see that Corrine muttered 'Oh Puh-lease' and rolled her eyes.

"C'mon! Before I could kill them!" She was already pissed off. Boys like that easily pisses her off and besides, she has a boyfriend and trust me, her boyfriend's waaay better than those douche bags. Corinne and I had different subjects every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
