Archer Lexington considered himself to be a normal person.
He was insane just like everyone else here. It's true that he is a Prince...and that he does have magical items...but that doesn't make him that different right? His silver eyes with golden flecks do look strange if you're not used to it, and the sunlight catching his hair and making it glow can catch you off-guard, but that's not that big of a deal.
Just because the Queen of Hearts took favor to Archer when he was a child shouldn't make that much of a difference.
Oh, wait, maybe it does.
No one else in Wonderland has a magical time-controlling pocketwatch. No one else even has a pocket watch - aside from the White Rabbit Prince but that's another story for another day. No one else in Wonderland has a magical shapeshifting hat that can hold anything and everything you put inside no matter the circumstances. No one else gets to live in the bedroom next to the Queen of Hearts.
Archer knows this.
So in turn, Archer, from time to time, is forced to consider himself privileged and special.
But that's not his fault, right?
It's not his fault he's the best fighter in Wonderland, or that he receives a royal education, making him the smartest man in Wonderland (aside from the Queen).
He gets to celebrate his birthday, June 7th, and for that matter, he knows when his birthday is...
The Queen isn't all that crazy either. The people she beheads deserve it because they were doing dumb things, like making her mad.
She does get mad at a lot of unnecessary things though...
But that doesn't matter because Archer's never gotten beheaded, in fact, he seems to make the Queen very happy.
Anytime he walks into the room, the Queen smiles and looks toward him, stopping whatever she was doing. Other people think it's weird. But Archer ignores them, just like he ignores everything else weird that deals with the Queen...so pretty much everything involving the Queen.

Archer wakes up at a normal time, 6 o'watch, and starts his day with a normal activity, training against the Queen's guards.
He puts on his armor with ease and decides on a sword, before jogging out to the training field where the guards are lined up with their usual pale faces.
The Queen sits in her box in the stands and smiles and waves to Archer as he comes in, pressing the start button on her giant stopwatch, her rubied royal stopwatch granted with her Queen status.
Archer smiles and waves back before turning to face the guards, all of which have started the "game". His grin widens as he starts to hunt down the guards.
Adrenaline starts pumping through his veins as quickly as a dragonbird's wings.
He finds the first one, Guard #1, digging a hole behind the tree marked with red tape (the one set aside for roundup) - making a mess of the wondearth, one might add - and Archer quickly disarms #1 of his rusted shovel, which proceeds to clang on the ground before settling into the inch deep hole.
Guard #1 lets out a kind of squeak sound in response before trying to run away. Faking a yawn, Archer sticks out his foot and trips the guard, who in turn falls to the ground. For good measure, Archer drops the shovel on top of the guard's head.
Because of course, that's what a "normal" person would do in this scenario, right?
Guard #1, unconscious now, doesn't resist when he gets tied to the marked tree.
