"So..." asked a slightly nervous looking George Weasley "What do you think?"
A good few months after the battle of Hogwarts and here they were; George Weasley, Lee Jordan and Ron Weasley standing were standing in a new shop in Diagon Alley, Tabitha's Tat, which just so happened to sell wedding rings, bouquets of flowers and rather a lot less tat than its name implied. The ring was silver- George could not afford gold- with Mischief Managed daintily engraved on the inside, it was just the thing George would choose for Angelina. Lee and Ron chuckled, sending a nervous smile onto George's red, blotchy face; he had still not recovered entirely from Fred's death- he never would. It had been four months and still he spent at least a quarter of the day shut up in his room, remembering his brother- his dead brother. The ghost of Fred's last laugh still haunted him, and it would haunt him to the grave.
The only thing that had properly distracted him from Fred's death was his soon coming marriage- on Friday 13th November, Angelina Johnson would no longer have the surname Johnson.
After a few minutes of pointless chatting the three boys (men, in fact) walked slowly but surely to the till, George carefully handing Tabitha the small red box and getting out his rather empty wallet- although Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes was still going strong it barely opened once a week, much to the annoyance of its customers.
The plump little woman behind the till smiled gently at the boys and wrapped up th box with, George was pleased to see, an excessive amount of care and a lacey gold bow.
