Damien inhaled sharply, his body refusing to pull the trigger and end the other man's life

" Weak. I knew you didn't have it in you" Joseph spat, throwing Damien off of him like a small child on a to fast merry go round. Damien get the wall roughly, weakly holding the gun to his chest as his sadness overruled his anger. Joseph dusted himself off, stood up and walked over to the sobbing Damien.

" Mary....Saul...I'm so sorry" he wept, tossing the gun at Joseph's feet as he wept into his hands. The salty tears stung his cuts, but he didn't care.

It would all be over soon.

Joseph picked up the gun and inspected it, unloading the chamber to see if it even had bullets within it. The gun's card popped out, and it had three separate bullets, but no more. Joseph laughed and popped it back inside the gun, the sound making Damien's heart break in two.

" Sorry is took so long. Say hi to my wife for me, okay?" Joseph said sweetly as he pressed the gun to the top of Damien's head. Damien weakly nodded, trying to wipe away his tears and be brave.

" I-I will"

Joseph took the shot, the bullet pushing it's way into Damien's skull, and becoming lodged into his spine even when he died almost instantly.

Joseph discarded the gun into the darkness around him, and looked at the three separate corpses, all dead of a different cause.

He oddly, felt the most remorse for Damien.

The sweet man didn't deserve this.

Joseph smiled at his dead body sympathetically, ruffling his grimy hair.

" Love you, buddy"
