Chapter 19

Calico's P.O.V

I woke up with chains shackled to a wooden post. In front of a fire pit with two stakes in it.

Am I getting burned??!? And god damn alive?!?

I felt my neck burn and my eyes hardened at the memory.

I started thrashing around till a hoarse voice stopped me

"Whoever you are, it's useless to struggle"

I looked over to see a pale man with dull blue eyes and dirty....brown hair?

I scoffed and replied "I've got someone's ass to kick and it involves my mate"

I started thrashing again when something touched my shoulder.

I looked to see the man's handcuffed hands on my shoulder.

"Whoever your mate is I'm sure they're looking for you"

I looked up to see dull,almost grey, eyes. I sighed and nodded.

I looked forward and saw that fucker coming towards me.

I growled and he smirked back.

"Don't worry princess! Your mate is coming"

"Don't say his name" I growled in my Luna voice.

"Doesn't affect me bitch" he shot back

"Don't talk to her like that" the man growled in an Alpha voice.

He rolled his eyes and walked away. I sighed and looked at the wood waiting in the fire pit.

"Time's a ticking!" Damien sang out. I rolled my eyes and leaned my head against the stake.

"Don't listen" the man whispered to me. I nodded

"Now now! Mr. we can't have you cheering up Ms. over here"

I don't know why but he won't say my name in front of the man and he won't say his name in front of me.

It's honestly confusing and I'm fed up.

"I'm done playing this fucking game where is Jasper"

I snapped. My Luna voice was steady and strong while my eyes flashed between my yellow ones.

"Now now kitten don't want Jasper to get burned"

Two people pulled the man up from his sitting position and started to tie him to the stake.

Once tied up a girl carried a bucket of water mixed with oil towards the pit.
