Chapter 11

Matthew's pov

Rumagasa ako sa kwarto ni Clarisse para tanungin sya kung anong kinalaman nya sa nangyayare kay Alexis at nakita ko syang nakihiga at nakatitig sa kisame.

"Clarisse" tawag ko kaya tila bang sya ay nagulat

"k-kuya? Bakit?" Nauutal nitong sagot.

"Ano kinalaman mo?" Pagseseryoso kong tanong.

"Ano ba kuya ang pinagsasasabi mo?" Dumilim ang aura ko sa pagpapanggap nya.

"Tell me the truth" i told her.

"Huh? Kuya ano bayan? Are you okay?" Patuloy na pagpapanggap kuno nito.

"I AM NOT OKAY UNLESS YOU. TELL. ME. THE. TRUTH" i said and she just gave me a smirk... nakakapagtaka na sya, sobra

"Angelica Monteverde." She answered

Angelica....

Angelica....

Monteverde?

"Hahahahhahaha!" May narinig syang matinis na tawa ng babae kaya inakala nyang si Clarisse iyon pero pagtalikod nya maluha luha ang mata nyang nakatingin sa kanya.

"S-she is here.." sabi nya bago lumitaw ang isang babaeng puro itim ang suot.

So familiar.

"Oh? Yoy don't remember me? Oh how sad! For the years we spend together? Why Matthew?" Maarteng sambit nung babae sa akin pero tinignan ko lamang sya na matiim.

"Pffft. Ok, ok... Angelica Monteverde... you don't remember? Childhood? Love? Wedding? Oh i shouldnt tell you about the wedding sorry! Uhm so back to it.. HEELLOO! Matthew!" I still can't remember! Damn!

"I don't know you..." i said coldly.

"Hay nako Matthew you look like an old man... okay i will let you remember, look in to my eyes Matthew!" Sabi nya at walang sabi sabing sinunod ko naman... i saw her black charcoal eyes turn into a crystal blue color, pagkatapos nun ay halos matumba na ako sa hilo..

"Matthew, I am sorry she said she can't attend this wedding anymore, she said she is calling it off."

"Bakit?! Nasaan sya?!"

"She is in the plane going to America.. Matthew nasa mundo sya ng mga tao."

"Hindi pwede! HINDI!"

"I am sorry Matthew.."

"Matthew baby! Ano naaalala mo na ako? What memory did you see?" Angelica asked me.

"Hellooo? Matthew? Are you there? Wake up!" Patuloy na pangungulit nito sa akin sabay pagpalakpak ng kamay nito sa harap ng muka ko.

"You left me... 5 years ago.. in our wedding.." sabi ko sa kanya na may luha parin sa aking mga mata. Masakit parin pala, she was my first love, my bestfriend but she left me.

"M-matthew I'm sorry... napressure l-lang ako.." she answered back.

"Sana sinabi mo nalang sa akin... hindi yung kailangan mo pa ako paghintayin.." I looked down as tears fall down on my cheeks.

"B-but I'm back!" Sigaw nito na parang kinalimutan nya lang ang lahat.

"Clarisse get out first... we need privacy." Sabi ko tsaka pinunasan ang mga luha ko gamit ang likod ng aking kamay.

"O-ok po" pagsangayon nito.

"Bye! Thanks a lot Risse!" Sabi ni Angelica bago lumabas ng pinto si Clarisse.

"Are you involved?" I asked her coldly

"Isn't it obvious?? Look, I did it for you.. and actually natulungan nga kita eh" she said.

"I dont need your help Angelica!" I shouted at her para naman tumigil na sya

"Oh really?... Let's see if you dont need my help... The day when Alexis was missing.. I did ALL of it... kinuha ko muna ang memories nya.. i froze her heart a little bit kaya minsan di sya gumagalaw o gumigising and I have the only antidote for it... and sa memories nya? Na sa akin din.. kinuha ko lahat ng memories nya hanggang sa natira nalang ay ang araw na pinahirapan ko sya at kinidnap ko sya.. at paano naman nagawa sayo ni Clarisse yun? Simple... sobrang weak nya kase to handle my threats.. now YOU don't need MY help? Okay bye!" Then she vanished.

Damn! Ba't kailangan pa 'tong mangyari!

As i turn the knob of the door biglang natumba si.. si Ryle?!

"Napalachismoso mo talaga Ryle, get out of my face NOW!" I shouted halata naman na sigurong galit ako diba?

"K-kuya I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! If i can handle threats well this shouldn't happen." Biglang sulpot ni Clarisse kung saan

"It's fine.. it is not your fault... now let's talk privately.. PRIVATELY ung hindi makiki-osyoso ang kapatid mo." I said as we head back to my room.

"KUYA, sorry talaga.. i didnt mean it.." patuloy na pagsosorry ni Clarisse sa akin sa nagdaang 5 minuto

"I told you it's fine.. It is Angelica's fault.. now what other things did you witnessed?" I asked with a lot of curiousity

"After that incident where i head Alexis into the wrong car, about 15 minutes had pass and Angelica called me, sabi nya sa akin na sumunod sya sa tinext nyang address sa akin. Pagdating ko sa location which looks like a laboratory i heard screamings and i knew it was Alexis. Sinundan ko kung saan nanggagaling ang sigaw at nadatnan kong nakatali sa isang chair si Alexis and Angelica was holding a wand, I was so curious then, she is a vampire but she knows sorcery" pagpapaliwanag ni Clarisse sa mga nangyari... as far as i know bawal gumamit ng sorcery ang hindi kasali sa grupo ng mga wizard or sorcerer as we call it.

"Go on with your story." I said

"I think that time she is removing Alexis' memory.. sinubukan ko naman makapasok dun sa room na yun eh.. pero parang may spell syang nilagay.. i tried to use one of my spells to break it but it was useless the spell was too powerful. I know she already noticed me that time pero parang pinapamuka nya sa akin ang hirap na pinapadanas nya kay Alexis." Patuloy nito

"Nasa kanya daw ang antidote at lahat ng magpapabalik sa normal kay Alexis." Paglalahad ko ng impormasyon.

"She wants you kuya.. i did researches for the spell she used to Alexis from my fellow sorceress at sabi nila it takes atleast 2 weeks before sya mamatay." What?! 2 weeks?! Dead?! Di pwede.

"We still have time to prepare Clarisse... Tawagin mo ang kapatid mo for the plans and include some of my friends" I am not going to let Alexis die just because Angelica wants me. I will never let that happen, not even in my dreams.
