“GENERAL MANAGER!” syempre na taranta din ako. Pinandilatan ko siya ng mata at gesture him to shut up.
The whole department panics in his announcement and like a flash, the unorganized place were like a newly renovated home. Kaya pala nilang maglinis within seconds eh.
Pero winarningan ko si Engr. Danny na manahimik.
“SIR ANUNG ORAS DADATING ANG GENERAL MANAGER?!”
“SIR ASAN?!”
“JUSKO SIR WAG MUNA DITO.”
Dun na nagets ni Engr. na di talaga ako kilala ng mga trabahador ko.
“A-ah. Akala ko lang.” pagsisinungaling nir Sir Danny.
“Sir pinakaba moko!”
“Muntik nako mamatay sir!”
Tatawa tawa lang si Krull na lumapit sakin at nag crouch ulit sa harap ko para iabot yung copy ng papeles. “Heto na ma’am…?”
“Uh-” sinong ipapakilala ko?!
Napalingon ako sa gilid ko at nakita ko poster ni Erich Gonzalez. “Erich. Yes. I’m Erich.” I lied.

“Nice name. But you’re prettier than her. Can I name you Liza instead?” she asked. I looked up to Krull and she pulled off an smirk. Mukhang nahalata nya na di talaga Erich ang pangalan ko.
“Liza. If you don’t want to tell your name, I’ll call you Liza.”
She’s a charmer. I can say.
“Whatever. Thanks for the papers.” I am about to arose when I felt her grab me back. I was surprised. I can say Engr. Danny too. His surprise is much exaggerated than I am. He might think that I’m gonna fire him for this.
“Upo ka muna, Liza. Uhm… Just for a while?”
“What do you want?”
“Well, let me return the question. What do you want? Coffee? Tea? Or me?” with that, the whole department made an ‘ow’ sound. Mukhang alam ng lahat na si Krull is into girls. Nung tumingin ako kay Engr. He was so sorry. “Hey, Liza.”
“Coffee would do.” I answered looking at the dispenser at the sidelines. Para lang manahimik sya since hindi naman ako umiinom ng kape dito.
“Then, see you at the Starbucks later? It’s a date.”
and that’s smooth.
“Nag blush si Madam o!” nagulat ako sa comment na yun at agad kinuha yung pocket mirror ko.

How strange.
“Push pa Krull!” bago pa man may iba pang mangyari saken dito, tumayo ako ng may pride. They seem to be all intimidated suddenly. Tinignan ko sila ng mariin. Lalo na si Engr. Danny.
