Thanks for checking out Squiff and his adventures. He came about out of a desire to write a picture-book for my kids, who have been avid readers since they were tiny. He is a blob partially because blobs are obviously cool, but mostly because I had never illustrated anything in my life, have basically no artistic skills whatsoever, and blobs are easy to draw.
If you're looking for a way to occupy your son/daughter/little brother or sister/nephew/niece/grandchild/annoying kid from next door for ten minutes or so, then Squiff may fit the bill, dodgy artwork notwithstanding. I'd love to hear any feedback from younger readers (and the older ones, too (I won't tell anyone)).
