"Mike! Mike!" You shook your boyfriend of six months awake. "Wha..?" He said, still half asleep. Today's the day!" You said, excitedly. "Oh, Jess." He said, and pushed you back down onto the bed, facing him. "It's not until 1:00." He said with a smile. "I know, but I'm just so excited!" You said, and you fell on top of him. "Haha, that's my girl." He said, hugging you. "I'm excited to meet your artist friend, and.." He cut you off with a kiss. Today was the day that you were getting your first of many tattoos. You were getting a Disney sleeve, and the tattoos you were getting today were just the outlines of all the characters. "Do you want to get up and eat something?" Mike asked you, sliding out of bed. "That would be great." You said, smiling and also jumping out of bed. You pulled on one of his hoodies over your body and ran downstairs after him. When you got downstairs, he was putting some bread in the toaster, eggs in a pan, and drumming with two spoons. "Maybe we're just having too much fun.." You sang to the beat. "Oh, I love you so much. How did you recognize it?" He said and walked over to you. "Because the drumming is the most distinct part of the whole song." You said with a smile and kissed him.
After you ate breakfast, you showered and washed your hair, and got dressed in a Avenged Sevenfold tank top, jeans with holes in the knee, and your trusty black Vans. Mike was ready as well, and you drove to his friends tattoo shop, listening to Metallica on the way there, and holding hands. When you got to his friends shop, you parked your car and got out. You were greeted by the artist, who's name was Romeo. He led you into the shop, and you showed him the ideas for the tattoo you wanted. He said he would draw up some stuff, and he would be back in a few minutes. While you were waiting, you had to document the moment, so you took an Instagram video of you and Mike.
Romeo eventually came back with a few different designs for your sleeve. You chose the best one, and then he led you over to the chair, with Mike following closely behind, filming the moment on his phone. You sat down and Romeo put the stencil on your arm. He started to load up the gun and ink, and thats where you got nervous. "Mike, I'm scared." You said, your arm starting to shake. "It's alright. I am right here if you need me." Mike said, kissing the top of your head. "Are you ready?" Romeo asked, the machine buzzing. "Yep." You said, holding Mike's hand. Romeo made the first few marks. It hurt, but you were squeezing Mike's hand, and everything was okay. As Romeo tattooed all the characters, you guys talked about why you chose this tattoo, and a lot of other little small talk type things. A few hours went by, and soon enough you were done. You went over to the mirror and looked at it. It brought you to tears because it was so beautiful. "Thank you so much!" You gave Romeo a huge hug. He wrapped it up for you, and gave you a few tattoo care tips. "I know what to do. Thanks man." Mike said and gave him a hug as well. You guys made an appointment for next week for color and detail, and then you guys left the shop. "Mike this was an awesome expierence, and I'm glad I got to spend it with someone as amazing as you." You said as you kissed him. When you guys got home, you spent the rest of the day cuddling and watching Disney movies in honor of your new tattoo.
