Sometime later I awoke to the sound of crying. The sound was so intense. The feeling of it in my ears felt worse than those of an up close symphony.I slightly tilted my head in the direction of the sound. Keeping calm, I tried to speak.
I discovered a muzzle had been placed over my face. With little force I ripped the mask off. I breathed in deep and opened my eyes. No one was in the room. It was my room. The deep, green bedding and posters surrounding gave that off immediately.
Then where had the crying come from?! Tilting my head once more, I began to hear a sniffling sound; one of sadness. My eyes began to sizzle. I placed my hand against my cheek. A tear I had shed. Was...was I feeling that emotion? Sadness..fear? I do believe it was someone else's.
Sniffing the air I smelt the sickening thing again. The smell right before I had fainted. Looking to my left and right I began to walk toward the stench. Yes, I advanced toward the grotesque aroma. Unsure of what to expect, I opened the bedroom door. It gave a stifling cry as it moved forward. The door opened into my living room. Seeing as I was a reincarnation of the originals, I inherited the Slitherin makers humble abode. My face was filled with silent thought.
Sitting a little ways near the exit was Ella. She was the one who had been crying. Next to her sat Remus, arms tightly around her. Ella's expression was astonishing. Everything was much clearer than before. Just noticing every beautiful feature she had made me glance around at the other things in the room. Had I received new glasses?! Remembering back to the mask accident I concluded I did not.
Glorious it was. The exquisite detail rendered uncomprehendable... Freeing myself from my daydream, I spoke. " Ella...", I whispered. I coughed multiple times revealing my dry throat. Ella ran to me, Remus at her side. " I am so very thirsty". Inching closer I noticed they used extreme caution. "Maybe it's best for you to lay still for a bit.", said Remus. Catching my stabling stature, Ella laid me on the plush, green sofa, whispering along the way. The intense smell washed over me once more. This time the smell was different. A mixture of chocolate and...and mutt!!
What in the bloody hell was that dog smell COMING from?! I held on to Ella's hands for dear life. As she sat down beside me, the smell of chocolate once more danced in front of my, now so magical, nose. Surprise slapped me in the face. It couldn't be... "Ella?" I whispered.
She automatically had her attention on me. Ella to the right of me and Remus sitting protectively in place beside her. This must have been an odd picture to imagine. Ella nodded as if she had already know my question. I do believe she was flabbergasted when I spoke a little after, "Do you smell Chocolate??
"The smell is devine don't you think??" A giggling fit enveloped Remus. Ella gave him a mocking smirk, then laughed herself. What were they laughing about?! Sighing, Remus looked into Ella eyes and said sweetly;" I had been telling you you smelled of chocolates...".
